Well I was lazy at the beginning but finally I got to know the wheel and memorize it well, I thought.
Now I will tell you what happens next because its become more complex then just to know the wheel.

Well here I write down the numbers from 26 to 3 as I have memorize them as sectors 3 x 12.
[numbers]26 0 32 15 19 4 21 2 25 17 34 6 27 13 36 11 30 8 23 10 5 24 16 33 1 20 14 31 9 22 18 29 7 28 12 35 3[/numbers]

The issue with this is when I get a number I spot them with an sector as I have learn them 3 x 12.
Lets assume some one say 22 or I see 22 hit then I know that 9 and 18 is neighbors.
But if I get 18 then it becomes 22 and 9 and not 22 and 29 because I memorize them as 3 x 12.
Well if i get 2 or 3 more seconds then i have 22 and 29.

Well I find a way to remove that error and its done with memorize the wheel the other way around from 3 to 26.
Then you get a more quick feel to where every individual number is and you can spot neighbors fast and correct.

Now first you have to learn the wheel and divide it to sectors like 3 x 12 because they give you groups that are easy to memorize and still they are small and will let you get an feel for singles individual numbers if you practice futher more.

Now second is to practice to know the wheel both ways to get a more precise feel for individual numbers, to spot them faster and make the groups you first learn to vanish away.
26 to 3 and from 3 to 26.

Finally you are ready to start to apply you knowledge to a method of some kind because now you have the basic foundation of the wheel in your head.
The groups have vanish away and you know all the numbers as individuals.
You can spot individual numbers and neighbors and maybe crossovers.

Now you are ready to learn Kimo Li matrix or DS or light VB.
I think any one serious about the game and want to aim to become a pro should learn the wheel and become a part of the wheel.

Cheers LS

Great post Patrick. If anyone is keen on learning the wheel back to front and front to back, this is a good technique. And it certainly is a pre-requisite if you want to get serious about roulette.

If you dedicate 10 minutes each day to learning the wheel you will be an expert in no time.
