Title: 10 most typical traits of a shoe and how to profit from them
Post by: Arteinvivo on February 03, 2009, 07:03:53 PM
I wish there were 10 most typical traits we could exploit in any shoe. But i suppose many players use their own filters to process the shoe into manageable parts.

This process of breaking the problem down into its component part is called 'drilling down'. What are for you the most common traits in a shoe ? And do they stay alive long enough globally to be profitable ?

Have your say! Here you can express your own views and discuss 'drilling down methodology' issues with other players.

Of course, apart from the usual streaks (BBBBB) ZigZag (BPBPBP) Terrible Double Two's (BBPPBBPP) what other traits or characteristics do you try to capture in a shoe ?

HI ARTY
<what other traits or characteristics do you try to capture in a shoe ?>

1 2 1 2 1 2  or  2 1 2 1 2 1 either 1 is ok

e.g. remove 1 =     2 1 2 1 2 1
remove 2       =     1 2 1 2 1 2

cheers

Read some interesting stuff in your section Arte, was wondering when you'd share some of your thoughts here
I like the post "Question about the game of Baccarat" - an interesting approach.

On average, the amount of Player wins vs Banker wins are often similar (or playing against/with the previous shoe) which should mean it's possible to surf dispersions as they go up and down - much like "riding a wave" and similar to trading forex etc. Picking up a unit or two here and there. This is not like regular trending plays like following the last and so on, this follows the bankroll balance, spending most time in virtual mode.....waiting.
Playing this way has to be liquid and dependent on the players judgment though.

Nobody responded to this because they don't know the answer. And thats because there are no typical traits. Nothing is dependable, nothing can be counted on. All you can do is practice your ass off and make guesses. I'm not kidding.

Well there only exist two "fictive predictable bias" that you can ride if you are going to use any thing that is common and play every hand.
Then when it not hovering you break even and start over.
