Hey guys & gals. Sorry I haven't been on here in awhile, but I haven't forgotten you.  I have a question I know many of you can answer.  How many times have any of you seen a dozen or column hit or miss in a row? I have been looking at and trying a system of betting on the two opposite dozens or columns after one dz/clm hit two or three times.

It's not perfect and I have only tried it on those dreaded RNG.  But I wanted to learn several play technique's before trying it out live.  I know RNG and Live are as different as night and day.  That's why I wanted to imploy your help.

Does or would it have any merit to play this way? To wait for a dozen or column to hit two or three times in a row and then bet on the other two dozens or columns?

And if I have posted this in the wrong place. Please move.

Thanks.

Shorty

Personally I've seen 8 in a row.

I've seen a dozen sleep fourteen times.  I remember it well as I lost big on it.  There was a popular system that said wait for the dozen to sleep seven times and then begin a progression.  I ran out of money in my account before I made it through the progression.

I've seen - a dozen sleep 15 times
             - a column sleep 18 times
             - same dozen hit 8 times

If you ever have to ask......"How many times have you seen" or "whats the most", dont play whatever is on your mind. Just my opinion.  Ken

I'll post a pic later that is SO for the lol.  It shows how a dozen hit 14 times in a row and showing the longest L streak I've ever seen so far.
Also, I've seen a colum and dozen miss like 20 times in a row.

And I've also considered the possibility of exploiting active columns and dozens.  Seems kind of promising.

A few weeks ago I saw a dozen hit only twice in 37 spins. Nobody even noticed, on every spin the chips were piled high on the sleeper. They weren't thinking it was due, they didn't even know it was sleeping.

It has been my experience that the dozen/column will hold out for one more spin than you can afford to bet!  You bet it twelve times and give up; it hits on thirteen.  Probably been a few suicides over this in the past.  Or divorces at the minimum.

Hey reb99  :)

You might find another answer here, in addition with answers to questions you did not ask but could have :nolinks://vlsroulette.com/reference-area/12-million-rng-spin-stats-shared-by-poit/

Many systems have been designed on the idea of waiting for x number of misses then bet with a n steps progression.

Try them for yourself, but my take on them is the following :
- either you define your betting start too soon regarding the maximum , and you don' have enough steps in your progression, or enough br to cover needs (or you reach the table maximum)
- or else, you start too close to the maximum, and you'll have to wait a lot of time for a betting opportunity. I recall some famous player did this. He was able to wait for hours in the casino for the right opportunity to happen, then he bet big.

Some will add the math say regardless of how many misses you wait for, that does not change the probability of winning at the next spin - at all.

Cheers  :)

hi reb,

thought of it, tried it, doesn't work.  this is a math system and the weakness is it is subject to 'randomness', 'the ball has no memory' etc.  but don't give up, it also has some usefullness.

and so true, when you can't believe something will 'hit' one more time, it will.  you can almost bet on it.  but don't.  thought of it, tried it, doesn't work.  but it does have some usefullness.

good luck, and don't give up

hi again,

also, i would try to develop something where you don't have to 'wait' too long for the right time to get in.  all that waiting can build a stack, but one mistake can wipe that out faster than it took to build it and you have to start all over.  that is the weakness.  but it has some usefullness. being patient is important in roulette, but you also need to know when to be aggressive.  that is a fragile balance to learn, but probably cannot leave out in what ever strategy you develop.

good luck

Haven't really sat in from of a roulette that long, not by this forum's standards, anyway. For what it's worth, I've sen a column sleep 18 times ( woke up as I lost my last chip. Sometimes I think the ball has memory, eyes and a mean streak ) Also a dozen hit 12 times in a row. Hard to forget too, as it also wiped out my bankroll. That said, I find the mechanical roulette more "regular" than wheels with dealer, as in DB. Also the bet range is very good: 10c to €20 for single bet, 10c to €60 for street, 10c to €250 for even bets. Probably can exploit those two facts with a patient, very long progression. Plus, it spins every 60 seconds or so.
