What system are you currently using?

Hey all -

Wow, there is a LOT of information on this board.  Everyday I seem to find something new that intrigues me.  Seriously, kudos to each of you for your posts.  However, it seems that for every system that I find and begin to test, I find another one that pulls my attention towards it.  I've noticed some of you posting, testing and proposing new systems often and I'm wondering exactly what systems each of you are consistently using with real money when you sit down to play?

Again, I am fairly new to this, so I only have a handful of played sessions, and the systems I use just happened to be the first ones that intrigued me on this board that I've modified to suit me.  Currently, I use TurboGenius' 4 Number method (I have found I like playing repeaters) while I pay close attention to watching the Lw's from the last two dozens to play on any LLs (which is my main focus).  I'm looking to expand on what I do and/or improve and tweak it, so I was just wondering what systems the more experienced players are personally using out there with actual money to grind for profits.

Your replies are much appreciated!
Thanks
Krash

".....I find another one that pulls my attention towards it."

Don't we all?

Krash, the old Chinese philosopher said,  "The man who chases two rabbits catches neither."  So it is with these systems.  We should pick on and chase it until we learn something.  I should heed my words!!

I'm not playing any system, but on a sinle-0 wheel I would play the VLS Lw Methodology on columns and dozens.  On the 00 wheel, I would play Gamlet's sector system, as 00 and 0 are just two more bricks in the wall.

When you say "Gamlet's sector system", do you mean the "Fire method" posted here?

Thanks much!

Exactly

Gamlet said to look for repeating numbers, 2 out of 3 within five spins and so on.  I created charts to track it.  Posted them on RF; got not one reply.

I always wanted to test it at a wheel like Dublin and break it down into CW and CCW spins.  I feel it would be even stronger, but I have no empirical evidence of that.

Hey krash,

i currently use a combination of 2 systems 'follow the disk' (its not a real system yet but it seems to work out for me) and lw's playing lines. Its important that you try a few systems see you can can see witch one works best for you and fits your needs.
Don' t be afraid that you lose sometimes, but keep your loses under control so you can make them up the next day, it may sound simple but its harder than you think.

Krash,

My best advise  to you get hold  of  books  on roulette . Here are 3  authors  with detailed  books on roulette.

Brett Morton, John Patrick, and Frank Scoblete. in those  books  you will find quite  a number of systems. Then make  your selection with  which systems  you might  be more comfortable  with.

Read up on dozens, columns, outside even chances bets, streets, double  streets  and don`t ignore the money management part.

Set win goal , loss limits with strictly enforced  DICIPLINE !

HAPPY WINNINGS!!!

We should pick on and chase it until we learn something. >>>

You should pick one and study it for a couple years, even if its a loser. Figure out why its a loser and how you can improve it. Eventually you will have a system that works. But very few people have the mental fortitude and discipline to stick with something longer than a few days, let alone a few years. All the great discoveries in history were made by men who had great discipline and curiosity.

So what system do i play ?

A mix from all above + my own development, all depending on the current wheel im focused on. Using Kelly betting as money management (to the extent where its still handy with whatever chip sizes is in play with the currency in the country i play).

Once you get the hang of the physics in the wheel, you will realize that all the above authors has their own approach to the game and its possible to mix from each of them.  You will get the highest edge with VB a la Scott/Basieux played on a wheel properly analyzed and mapped out as described by Caleb Johnson and further more a "mix analyse" using Basieux/Scott/Johnson/(Kelly). Maybe a bit over rated to name myself in the same sentence as the 3 above, but i actually managed to add a little more depth to their play. (Said in a very humble way) ;-)
