As promised, I am reporting on playing conditions in Las Vegas, since I got out here last night around 2am EST. I played with my wife until about 5:30 am just goofing off on our first night, so we didn't play much roulette.

We are staying at the MGM Grand, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND from a tourist standpoint. It's a lovely hotel and casino and just absolutely massive.

We sat down at a double zero $25 min roulette table to start and won a bet on red - her dad wanted her to play that, so we did. We then got up and played video poker, slots, pai gow poker, etc., so not much roulette played.

I did play a new system I am trying to perfect and am ahead 38 units on a $10 min table ($2 each number), so that's a good start to be sure. Serious gambling today!!

Anyway, the MGM, that I could tell had at least 4 single-zero roulette tables, but last night, they were mainly $25 minimums, which is never good. But we only went through half the casino, so I will continue to stake it out.

We went over to New York New York and because we were tired, only got through about 1/3 of the casino. I saw only 1 single zero there, and it also was a $25 min.

Will check it back out today and also check out some of the less expensive casinos on the strip and will try to report back two or three times a day.

Keep on testing and let's beat this game!!

Hey Keith,
hope your enjoying your stay so far!  One point I'll mention.. last time I was there (last year) the Imperial Palace seemed to have the cheapest table games amongst the "big casinos" on the strip.  Also, during the day is always cheaper than at night.

I've never seen a single zero table in Vegas with less than a $25 min. I'm not saying they don't have them, but I don't where they'd be.

Thanks guys...and

@ spike - yes, you are correct sir. Most of the single zero were $25 mins. And they were few and far between (the single zero wheels).

I am happy to report that they have many low limit Rapid Roulette machines, and I used those to collect a nice 163-unit gain for the 2 days using a simple system that I have been working on lately. I didn't get to play as much as I would have liked, but it was a lot of fun to be sure!!
