How many repeaters should we expect in 37 spins?
By repeaters in mean the same number hitting in 2 consecutive spins.

40 views and none able to answer.
The lack of mathematics background and statistical knowledge, coupled with our lack of focus (trying different systems and ideas every couple days) is in my opinion some of the main reasons we cannot conclude to any valuable knowledge, systems or concepts.

Anyway, for those who are interested, I found out (with help from other ppl) that one should expect around 1 number repeating in every 37 spins. Of course there are 37 spinsets with no repeating numbers and there are others with more than one, but the expectation is around one repeating number every 37 spins.

Hey kav,

although I won't argue with your answer, I somehow doubt that the average is only 1 repeat in 37 spins.  Although possible, the odds must be quiet low for only 1 repeat in 37 spins.

That being said, I have no idea what my "right" answer would be.

Hi mattymattz,
By repeater I mean only the same number hitting in 2 consecutive spins (back-to-back).
Not any number that simply appears twice in the course of 37 spins.

Hey kav,

thanks for clarifying that... makes much more sense now

I probably would have been able to come up with an answer 20 years ago, but it has been too long (28 years) since my last university math course.  How time flies.  :'(
