Break Point Roulette

The Beginnings of an Idea

Winning consistently at roulette is definitely not easy. Even if you do manage to win consistently, it's usually one of those systems that nets you $1 or $2 at a time.

Many of these "systems" are not any better than going out and flipping burgers at a fast food joint.

But what if we focus on flat betting inside numbers instead?

Break Point Roulette does just that.  It wins consistently enough to make it worth your while.

When I first started out with this idea, I chose 6 numbers to flat bet on.  The numbers I chose were: 7, 11, 19, 20, 25, and 28.

When I began my flat betting, with just $1 on each of these numbers, I won quite a bit; but of course I lost more than won.  In effect, after several hours of testing I was about right where I started.

I figured since I was covering 6 numbers per spin I could expect to win about once every 6 spins or so.  While this was more or less true, I needed a way to recover some of those losses.

So I introduced a mild progression. After the first six losses I increased my bet from $1 per number to $2 per number.  Then I let that play for six more spins.  After this, I increased my bet from $2 to $3 per number from losses 12 to 18.

All the while I would reset my progression back to $1 after a win.

Now things were getting very interesting!  In fact, I had run my profit (in fun mode) up to more than $1000 in less than 1 hour!  While doing this, I was trying to see if I could "push" my losses past 18.

It took almost another hour of play, but I finally pushed my losses all the way up to 21.

I can't remember how much I lost, but it was certainly not more than about $400 - $500.

Pressing the Issue

Alright.  Promising.  But not without it's hiccups.  I certainly did not like having to endure losses like this, as unlikely as they were.

I knew I was trying to find the peak for the standard deviation for my losses, which appeared to be around 21, while the standard deviation itself was more like 10 to 12 losses before a win.

What if, after I had progressed my chips up to the $3 per number point - and won - I then started a new session, not back at $1 but at $2?

So I tried this.  After winning at the $3 level, I reset back to $2.

Now the profits really began to increase, because I noticed that after a monster losing session, it was pretty rare that I would have to endure another one.  In fact, I was finding that I would often win within the first 6 - 7 spins after I had backed down to that $2 level.

The Break Down

At this point I thought I was really onto something.  But something bothered me about my system of play.

What bothered me was that I didn't really know at what point I would be making up for losses.  For example, if I had 16 losses in a row, then won on spin #17, I had piled up a lot of losses, and a single win of $72 was not going to make up for all those other accumulated losses.

So I had to break down exactly what was going on - see how much I was winning and losing at each point in the progression, and try to determine if improvements could be made.

And boy, did they ever need to be made!  In fact I discovered that if I ever did go through 15+ losses, then won a couple of time at the $3 and $2 levels, I was still nearly $200 down for this session!  Yikes!

What's more, I forever had that nagging feeling that 21 losses in a row was going to be just around the corner and bust my system; or have back to back monster losing sessions.

And then, predictably, it did.

It wasn't devastating.  But it certainly was disconcerting.

I had some problems that needed to be addressed, because I really enjoyed playing this system.

First, how could I safely "endure" more losses?

Second, what could be done about improving my different betting "levels"?

I wasn't sure about the first problem yet; but I did have an idea about the second.

You see, I had in mind the Guetting Progression, and how it uses different "levels" of betting to help lock in profits when you end up losing.

If I could figure out a way to modify this idea a bit, maybe I could minimize my losses while my profits piled up.

Then I had an idea.

The Break Point

What if I bet on the lines that my numbers were in?  Not enough to make a profit, but just enough so that I could cover more numbers while waiting for my numbers to hit?

So I bet $2 on the 7-12 line, $2 on the 16-21 line, and $2 on the 25-30 line.

Now when any of those lines hit, I break even.  When one of my numbers hit, I win $36 (or more, depending on how much I've bet on it) + the $12 (or more) for that line hitting.

Now, when I have to increase my bets, I add $1 to the single numbers, and $2 to my line bets.

I decided that, because I was now covering nearly half the table now, I would see less losses, and could stop my progression at level 4.

Once again, I decided that I would use a "stepping down" technique after losing streaks, rather than reseting the whole session down to the $1 level.

The result was that, now I watched my profits increase even faster!  I hit $2000 profits in just over an hour (again, in fun mode).

The Break Point Roulette System

Level 1 - Bet $1 each on numbers 7, 11, 19, 20, 25, and 28. (Actually, the numbers themselves don't matter much, but keep them divided between r/b or h/l evenly. Make sure your numbers are at least in the same line.) Bet $2 on each line your numbers are in.

Now spin and keep track of where you are in the session.

At Level 1, you can take 3 losses before moving to the next level.  By the way, it is not a "loss" if your line hits.  The purpose of the line bets is to keep you in the game and allow you to bet deeper into a losing session without losing any money.  A true "loss" is when none of your lines hit.

Level 2 - You've lost 3 times at Level 1, and you're down $36.  So now bet $2 each on your numbers, and $4 on each of your lines.  Let this go for 2 losses before you progress to the next level.

Level 3 - At this point you've lost 5 times, 3 at the first level and 2 from the second, and you are -$132.  So bet $3 each on your numbers and $6 on each of your lines.  Again, let this go for 2 losses before progressing to the next level.

Level 4 - Now you've lost 7 times and are -$204.  Bet $4 each on your numbers and $8 on each of your lines.  If you happen to lose at level 4, stay at it for one more set of two allowed losses.

When you win at Level 3 or 4, bump yourself back down to Level 2 and start a session here.  Your profits will make up for your losses accrued in Level 3 or 4.

Most of the time you will never even reach Level 4.  But it will come, so decide if you are going to continue from there or not.

I don't bother.  I take the loss and carry on, expecting to make far more than I lose.

And that's all there is to it!  Break Point Roulette is a fun system to play - fun, because who doesn't love watching their numbers hit over and over again!

Have fun!

Great idea! Hope you can forgive me... I have made a couple of changes. Instead of using the lines where the inside numbers are I used the empty lines. This way the ball will always be close to our bets. And this way you play even or win 36 x unit bet or loss the lot. It is nice to see how many saves there are this way. (Play even) Even better as soon as you go to the next level and have 4 units on the lines you make a profit there as well.

Second change is that I play 6 times and then I upgrade my units as how you suggested. But with a win I do not regress back to 1 unit but I keep the whole lot in play. This way, as soon as there is a second win I make up for the complete loss and have a nice profit.

I have only played fun mode, but will soon test it with 10 cents a pop for real. It's my understanding that fun mode is at least 5 times more forgiving then the real deal.

I like the way you present your system. Keep up the good work. I like your feedback on my "suggestions".

Ehh, just lost 133 euro... It does not make a difference witch lines you play. Or it gives you more saves or it helps boasting the win. Your play with regression is probably saver. I'll need to put new green in and I'll try it again. After my loss I played fun mode again and it seems I cannot lose. +200 in no time. So be carefull.

Played it with units on the lines as how did the layout. 20 games, unit 10 cent + 8,30 euro.

nullified: As far as I remember, Guetting should be used after winning. To use progression beyond a certain point after losing, we must be newbies or :diablo: daredevils. At least we should know the probabilities. I am not a math guy, but a little help from an electronik calculator might help us from breaking down.
With The Break Point Roulette System we bet on 18 numbers - but 12 of these do not change our balance in any way.  37-12 = 25.
And (19/25)^2 = 0,5776. This is the probalility, that your system are going to take us from level 2 to 3. Or from level 3 to 4. Etc.. So we should bother.  In the long run we are certain to reach levels, we had not even dreamed of.

hi nullified,

thank you for sharing with us your experience and idea.
I think it is very creative when you mix up the double street in your selection.
I also have a current  6 number bet selection using kimo li's GPM which usually hit with in 6 spin but the same as your experience it sometime hit more than 6, the longest L streak that i've experience so far was 17. and i think adding that double street will somehow neutralize the loss or at least minimize it except ofcourse when it is "true loss".

ill try it out and ill report in my result.

keep us posted of your progress.

Why don`t you look up the positive Charles Guetting progression. :ok: This one does not chase losses.
Google it in.

As Nathan quitely pointed out to me regarding a similar switch bet progression he said and I quote, "This method  is  atleast 112 years old  according to a book  dating back to 1910 nolinks://nolinks.archive.org/stream/montecarloanecdo00bethiala#page/n5/mode/2up

Should  be played at a casino with en prison rules .

CAUTION: Just like the author  of this  book emphasizes  that he  does  NOT endorse any system   offered in his book I also DO NOT endorse any of those  systems.

@Conway Clemency >> I'm gonna give you a warning. If you think you're going to HIDE behind........but these are my methods and I'm not arguing with anyone, then call my bluff regarding my warning.

You know damn well you are 'messing' with us (yet, another bored guy). You KNOW you are simply making up any old BS and posting it. I wish I had that much free time.
