Long Time Lurker, First Time Poster - A Boring 'System'

Hello Everyone,

As the title suggests I'm a long time lurker and stalker of these forums and have decided to take the plunge and post for the first time.  I've spent alot of time reading through the posts and the systems people use and have found alot of useful information and views on roulette.

I've been playing roulette for a few years now always looking at is as a 'investment of time' (some people think I'm crazy as I actually enjoy trying new ideas and watching them burn) and have always thought that one day I will be able to plough 1000 units into a account and aim to make 10-20% roughly of my bankroll per day, day being the key term, not hour.

The way I've seen roulette play over the years has shocked me, statistics kind of go straight out of the window dont they as we know that theoretically the odds of 15 reds or odds or high numbers comming in one after the other is very very low but I have seen this happen quite reguarly.  Same as dozens or columns sleeping which I have seen a dozen sleep for 25 spins which again is statiscally extremely rare.  From this observation and through using roulette simulation software I have formulated a way of playing that so far looks to be quite secure, some people will thinks its crazy others might like it so I thought I would post and see what people think.

Firstly, this is a long long way of playing and it is boring if you sit and do it so I use software that allows me to leave it running and play the bets for me while keeping track of the statistics.

What I do;

I wait for a even bet to be sleeping for 15 spins before placing a bet or dozens to be sleeping for 20 spins before placing a bet on them.  It is a progression system so it's a case of doubling up your bets when you don't win, the advantage is that because you are using such small units in comparison to your bankroll you are in a way 'protected' although I think the use of that word isn't appropriate when talking about gambling.

Yes this is a very very long slog which is why I simply leave the programme running and doing its thing while I go to work or sleep or have a beer.  On a live table this would take forever however I don't use them often as it take so long for a spin, I use quickfire RNG's which allow me to get through more spins in a far smaller time period.  I have been using this method for the last few weeks and it has been very stable so far with no loses and hitting its target every day, I think this is because it only bets one in a hundred spins or so when the odds are 'in our favour' if you can ever say that.

On a live table you could probably bring the sleeping time down as they are more reliable however I can't help but feel that the amount of time you would spend waiting on a live table far outweighs the extra wait on a faster spin.

Verdict;

My verdict on this is that it is a very very very slow way of winning which takes all the fun out of the game but as a term or investment it is quite viable, for example if we use the 1000 units as 1ps that means you only need £10. 00 to start this, okay you may be waiting a few years before you make any considerable amount but in terms of percentage you would make 10% hopefully.  So if you extend that to £100. 00 and 10p units you would be making £10. 00 a day and so on and so forth which I think is pretty good.

What do the more experienced of player think?

All the Best
