Here's a copy of the file with continuous entry. You might find it useful. Just start entering your numbers in I2 as soon as you're ready to start tracking.

Instead of waiting for the last number hit to start entering, you start with the first number and continue downward in column I.

How come the initial formula from the system is not being used? Just curious. what about adding 1 to the "d" number like it says?
I'm not quite sure when you still get a number like 1239...say these are the numbers:
29..a
34..b
36..c
3..d
This is the formula in the book.

So my number F=507
If you're skipping the 2nd step in the book wich is F-(dxd)/(bxc)

I don't understand...if you're using the excel file, then the formulas are both being used. 1st part of the formula is in Column E and the 2nd part is in Column G

Also  F-(dxd)/(bxc) should be  F-(dxd)/(b+c)

Please clarify.

I know that. (My mistake about the + and X.) But it's not the formula in the book.

I'm talking about doing everything manually. Like paper and pencil. What happens in the second formula after calculations(I'm talking manually doing it..forget about the excel file)when the number is still greater than 36? Like say it's 82 or 175? I've had that happen.

This is the formula in excel

(A2*(B2+C2))/(D2+1)

As for if you're doing this by hand in the casino .... WOW I hope you're GOOD at math and REALLY fast.

If you're not using a calculator ... not a good system to use live.

There are only 3 possible answers per calculation.

If your calculation is less than 36 you only need the first formula

If your calculation is greater than 36 then use the second formula. If the answer is positive stop there.

If the answer is negative, subtract that number from 36.

Concerning the original Excel sheet which Boo_Ray gave us, it makes not a whit's difference which order you put in the numbers.  When the calculation is done, the answer is always the same. 

So, while the wheel is spinning and I'm not busy, I put in the three oldest numbers and wait for the number to come and put it in A and go.  Very easy.

Just to make things clear ....

You do have to enter them in ORDER A B C D

You can however enter the B number before the D number  or the D number before the A number .... but they must be in the right order A B C D because the answer is most definitely not the SAME.

Now, here's what I am saying.  Putting in B correctly, C correctly and D correctly and then putting in A correctly does not affect the final number.

I am aware B must be the second newest and C the third and D the furtherest back.  A is always the number that came.

OK, I am not assigning blame..........

When I go to bet, the counter starts at 28 seconds.  It must remove the lost wagers before you can place new ones.  Yesterday it went down to 5 seconds on the scroll bar before it removed the old bets.  So I had four seconds to bet.
