Today I went to play some craps. Next to the craps table are two neighbors roulette tables so I could watch what is going on on the roulette scores boards. If I wouldn't see it with own eyes I wouldn't believe! That numbers came in sequence: 15-15-15-15-15-36-3-20-10-10-10-10-10-10, and half an hour later on the same table 33-33-33-33-33!!! The wheels must be fixed or bewitched that for sure. On roulette table is everything possible. Because of the extreme it is difficult to make an infallible systems (holy grails) for roulette game.
That's not all! On the craps table guy was shooting for more than half an hour. He did 73 rolls without 7 out! He cashed in 30 minutes $2,500. I waited until his next turn for shooting and bet on him higher than normal. I was wrong!!! He established number and immediately 7 th out. He colored his chips and disappeared. Only I had to chase my loss down for another half an hour.
Gambling is really gambling. Lot of excitement.

I wish I would be at that table. I would play repeaters :)

hermes

Boo_Ray, I wish we together will be on that table. The repeaters are much better chance than sleepers and anyway there are a few who spend the whole life to create systems for sleepers. Betting on sleepers is like betting on dead.

At my local casino one time (Starcity) I was standing around chatting to friends when i noticed there was something strange about all three roulette tables that i was looking at. At first i couldnt work it out, was almost like my subconsciousness worked it out before me lol. Table ones, tables twos, and tables threes ALL had the same numbers spun in the last 10 spins. I think that is more unlikly than 10,10,10,10 etc.... they were all over the place. like 32,6,8,12, etc but all three tables had the exact same spins, i watched it and it happened again before my eyes. Thats scary

You see Poit and at that moment nothing else occupies our brains only that the roulette wheels must be fixed otherwise it is not possible to happen. Is it magic or scam?

thats not what i was getting at at all. What happened will happen again and again, just it was cool to be there when it happened. Our technology to a primitive people that have no concept of our way of life would see it as magic, does not mean it is magic.

You see Poit there is no coincidence or accident in the whole universe. Everything has a reason and everything whats happens has a reason to be there even if we don't know why. There is a reason for being born and there is a reason for dying too. Those are the poles of duality we live in. We have to accept it. The more we accept it the more we are happy.
Nice to talk to you.

I would say that all gambling is extreme in negative or positive form. Yesterday, I played craps and threw dices for 45 minutes without 7 out. I made 96 winning rolls. Some guys packed themselves with more than $1000 on my rolls. That's team work against the casino. The world record is 143 rolls without 7 out by Captain. I am not far away. I made $680. Not bad for cautious player.

Two days later I went to play craps again and they changed the dices for loaded one, friend dealer told me. An for sure the dices didn't behaved so good like when I threw the 96. I lost $100. Everybody lost on that day. The dealer told me that they put in play the loaded dices after they have some previous losses (like my) and than come all days just choppy tables. You don't know what to bet. They do it by purpose on weekends when casinos are crowded with random gamblers. The same with slot machines, they are tight on weekends and holidays.
You recognize loaded dices because they do choppy tables and have repetitive combination of 7 outs! In my case there came 8 times combination of 6+1=7 in 10 cases of 7 outs. That's suspicious enough. Stay away from that tables!

Where do you play, Hermes?

Certainly not in the USA.  Using loaded dice would or could cost them their license to operate which is worth untold millions and they are not going to risk it for a few grand.  Since loaded dice favor an outcome, if you had such knowledge that they were loaded, you could have made tens of thousands of dollars.

On your good day, if I were at the table I couldn't have made less than $30k betting on you. I would have tipped you at least a purple. Maybe an orange chip if I was feeling generous.

There is no way for any casino operation to change the slot payouts from a location other than the individual machine.  And to do that in the USA it has to be witnessed by a Gaming Agent.  No casino can 'tighten' nor 'loosen' a slot or bank of slots at-will.  Any slot manufacturer caught making such a machine at the behest of a casino or on their own accord, even for a foreign market, would lose their right to sell ANY PRODUCT in the American casino marketplace.  Again, that license to sell is worth untold millions. Once the Gaming Commission finishes with them then there would be a shareholders suit.  The company would then cease to exist and it would be quite possible that a handful of executives (and others) ended up in prison.

Taleman, that's the theory what you are telling. The practice is different. The casinos in Canada have to feed the government politicians and the gaming commission is sorted from government what means that the hand wash the other hand. Nobody knows where the multi-millions from the casinos are going. If the money from casinos earnings would be used for education and health care we would have the services for free. But contrary to that we pay every year heavier and heavier taxes.
I cannot proof the loaded dices because they don't even let me to touch them with both hands. The security would thrown me out in a minute if I would do it. It is interesting that at home I roll average 20 to 40 without 7out.                                                               I don't believe that USA is smaller jerk than Canada in betraying the citizens. Actually, we Canadians learn the dirty tricks always from our bigger brothers. No casino, politician or lawyer is honest. They all have one thing in common - greed.
I experienced the dirty business around money so often that your arguments cannot convince me to change my view.
You must live on different planet. I live on planet Earth.

I think you live in a Fairyland or a Fantasyland with your thoughts.

Want to know where the $$$ is going?  Follow the $$$ trail.  Quite simple, really.

All you have is conjecture and half-baked hypothesis.

I have had days like you describe and I used to practice religiously. Every casino and every table is different.  Especially different from your practice rig. Many of the pros I know and hang with have good days and bad.  It's a  fact of life.

I do not deal in theory. I deal in FACT.  Maybe you missed the recent news article where the operators of a casino in Atlantic City lost their license for merely having a dirty, understaffed and underfunded operation.  That's REALITY, my friend.

Get back to me when you have some actual facts.

Sorry about you being from Canada.  But at least those casinos don't have the same luxuries as American ones do when it comes to dealing with players. According to posts over at GG that's a plus for you, the player.

hermes

Yes, American casinos are more generous than Canadian but more dangerous too. Many tourists get killed in Atlantic City every year just steeping out of casino. That's the other side of American gambling. The guy you mentioned probably lost his license because he didn't bribed enough?

when we lose we say its rigged. when we win  how smart we are. if you gamble you must take the losses  and hope  the wins are more then the losses. gambling is all pure chance. no matter what system you play. sometimes it wins and sometime it loses. good punting

While I do not know the exact crime statistics for the AC area is I will tell you I deemed it a cesspool before the first ever casino was built or dreamed of.  When I travel to the northeastern U.S. I do whatever it takes to not even be in or near New Jersey.

I am gleeful that they are bing hit hard by the current economic conditions and am constantly amazed at their answer to the problem.

Whereas most venues loosen comps, reduce table mins., offer great promotions (via drawings and tournaments) give back some of their edge by increasing returns to the players or whatever - AC, OTOH, is taking away or reducing comps, upping table mins., reducing promotions and in general just alienating their customer base.  They are just greedy with no sense of marketing whatsoever.

Pins, you nailed it well.
