Title: Who Believes Spike
Post by: bombus on September 09, 2009, 10:32:10 PM

Ok, Spike claims to have the game well and truly licked.

Now, he claims he does this playing the EC's, with flat bets, and no betting triggers, just "educated guessing" whatever that is.

Each of those is practically impossible on there own, let alone combined into a single method, so let's see if members actually believe him, or if he is just another winwithmath and then some.

I do believe Spike.
I have tried many of the methods put forth on this board. Every one of them have a week point that you will usally get too with in 200 spins (that is around 3 hours of play at a live wheel) A friend of mine, who taught me to play Baccarat told me that there is no way to beat the vig. So the best way to aproach gambling is to come up with a method that keeps you as close to even as you can until a run hits, then go home. He also said do not play any games that have more than a 3% vig.

From what I have read of Spikes posts, I think his method of play is to stay even, until he hits his win goal, then he goes home with the money.

Of course this is a guess, I could be wrong.

I agree with Tino's post above, Spike couldn't careless what we think.....

Does he win @ 72% on E/C's regularly ? I doubt it....

But he does offer some sound advise from time to time & badgers any wannabe scammers when they show up here

That's good enough for me..... :good:

There was a German dictator in the last century who knew if he told a big enough lie, then gradually more and more people
would come to believe it. Surely if the lie was repeated again and again there must be some truth in the lie!

Spike over at GG has produced over 12,000 posts, a great many putting down people who dared suggest they may have a
system worth considering. His posts are also littered with "educated guessing". When he dreamed up that piece of nonsense,
he must have thought he was on a winner. He was in effect doing a "wendal". A prolific poster, endless garbage and no one
is any the wiser at the end of it all.

He fully admits that he goes on forums for entertainment, gets a kick out of ridiculing other posters. He comes out with some
classic posts about practising on what is no more than a toy wheel and got the local kids round to be his croupier. I don't
know if they paid him out in sweets(candy) if he ever won ;D.

This thread demonstrates that more and more members here will believe the nonsense he churns out, well I for one are wise
to it and he knows it.

Pretty much. Not lose when not winning. Its the gold standard of risk management managers. If their clients aren't making money, at least make sure they aren't losing any. They usually don't achieve it.

Its not a system, its a method. A system implies mechanical betting, a method can be anything.

Hit rate?
Does it has peaks, draw-downs and hovering?
What is 72%?

In the long run you use the Estat to get an correct value.
I know you can get peaks above 72% but you can't stay there at all times.

If Spike has it or not - well I would say I only trusth some one that can explain and put up with some-thing.
I understand that Spike don't want to talk about "how-to" then that all that is left is empty claims and statments.
Has been done many times on this forum and we will get more of that kind of posts from member on this forum.

Cheers LS

Some fair comments on both sides here, and currently the voting is almost split down the middle.

That's interesting because here we have a guy who claims to be unbeatable on the roulette table, which is basically a claim to have the Holy Grail.

Most people believe there is no such thing as the Holy Grail, yet this poll shows that virtually half the respondents believe Spike does posses such a thing.

Personally, I'd like to believe it's true that Spike can guarantee a profit at each session. Because, if there is one way to accomplish guaranteed profits, then there must be many ways to do it.

But as LS says, it's all empty claims and statements so far.

Ps,
Spike, thanks for voting. I sincerely hope you are the only one who ticks that box though. Lol.

Believing me or not believing me has nothing to do with anything. I'll never prove it, so its a moot point. If I sound like I know what I'm doing, maybe there is hope for you. If I sound batty, well, there you go..

Yes it does, it has to do with which way people will vote.

The poll is not asking for any proof, and with or without Spike, there is always hope.

Title: Re: Who Believes Spike
Post by: bombus on September 14, 2009, 01:56:19 AM

So far it's 13 yes and 11 no. If we split the maybes down the middle we get 15 yes, 13 no. Then we add the 6 baloney votes into the no, so it's 15 yes, and 19 no. Of course Shorty threw a spanner in the works with his declaration of "idolship" (no way that's a word) lol.

Spike, it appears many members actually believe your roulette prowess is for real.

In light of this revelation I was wondering if you think it would be possible to code your method once and for all, so we can make a botty bot, say what?

I think Spike is a narcissistic sociopath.  You have handed him a gift by starting this thread, as the creature feeds on attention.

He claims to have found his grail, but plays the appalled card if anybody asks for details, saying they will never get it out of him.  Yet he continues to post replies and start new threads to tell us how great he and his method are.  I agree with Mr.  Chips about it being unlikely there is any truth to anything he says.

Cue the Spike reply: "who cares".   He should really be in therapy.

3212 forum members.
39 voters so far.
So that's 3173 members who have not voted, and only 1 of those felt compelled to make a special announcement to tell us that he ain't voting, because he don't care.

Why am I not surprised which member that was... ROFL!

You never cease to not disappoint me Mr J.

I don`t think it`s in the best interest of the board by  polling about any ones  personality .  Polls  should be  confined  to subjects  pertaining to gambling .

Polls of  such personal  nature are  very inflammatory  and  might result in getting the proper  response  which might not  to be  of some people`s  liking.

Therefore , I am in support of any strong response by the poster to whom this thread  refers to.

I would  suggest that this thread is  being withdrawn by it`s  originator with a  proper apology.

As for myself I would consider it beneath my dignity to take  part in this  polling process in any form or manner.

Nathan Detroit
HAPPY WINNINGS!!

@ ND,

Sorry you feel that way.

There is nothing personal or inflammatory about the poll; it's just a vote to see how much belief there is amongst members in regard to Spike and his methodology, which is roulette related. Who knows, after reading the results and seeing strong belief in Spike's way, people might actually delve a little deeper into the random nature of roulette.

It is meant to be a bit of fun, not a deadly serious affair.

-------------------------------------------

Spike is a big boy, with a tough hide, but just in case...

Spike, I apologize if this poll has caused you any angst, as this was not my intention. If you find it offensive, or wish the poll removed, then just say so and I will ask the mods to delete it.

Ps. Yes, "A fish Called Wanda" was the perfect comedy, faultless!

I'd like to thank you all for voting (well not the Yes voters, you guys suck).

Those who voted No... you're Ok in my book.

And you Maybe voters... grow some skin will you!

Balony voters...  it's encouraging to see some of our forum members are in fine cerebral tune.

And, Shorty, good luck with that mate...... (my hero)..... lol!

Didn't give away my personal opinion did I? Oh well, sorry.

----------------------------------------------------

In all seriousness, 33% of the poll apparently believes that Spike does in fact play an unbeatable, positive expectation game despite the fact that he has never supplied one shred of proof, one single fact, one tiny example, or one verifiable result. Regardless, that is a huge percentage and I'm genuinely surprised at this display of blind faith. Good on you guys.

@ Spike, I know you couldn't care less, but thanks for being a sport, anyway.
