Title: The Casino Is Closing The Wheel......
Post by: xman1970 on October 24, 2008, 10:29:53 PM
Hi Guys,
Just a quick question, IF a B&M casino is about to close down a wheel how much notice do they / do they have to give you???

The the reason I ask?? The Microgaming "Live" wheel can apparently go into "maintenance" mode whenever they wish......

An email I sent & their reply is below......

Please find below an email sent to you nearly 36 hours ago.....

Dear Sirs,

Please find below, a live chat session I have just had or should I say haven't had with "Tim"

If somebody could please answer my request it would be greatly appreciated.....

Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Tim'
Tim: Welcome to Live Chat Support.  How may we assist you today?
ste: hi tin
ste: ooops hi tim
ste: I'm playing live roulette ok
ste: on the screen it says "roulette maintenance"
ste: back in 10 mins
ste: I go out of the lobby & then back in and the wheel is spinning??
Tim: I see, and what is the particular nature of the problem?
ste: is there "roulette maintenance" preformed at the same tine each day??
ste: performed*
ste: tim*
ste: time*
Tim: The timing I am not certain of, but there needs to be check that it is working properly, and this is standard practice in any casino
ste: & how do they check it in 20 seconds???
ste: could you please find out IF it is done at the same time of the day & what those times are please....
ste: Thank You
ste: are you there Tim??
ste: Hello????
ste: Is anybody there??

I sincerely hope somebody will help me better than "Tim" did.....

& their totally no descript reply eventually was.....

Dear Stephen,

Thank you for your feedback and hope I can answer your enquiry.

There are no set times that maintenance is performed on our Casino each day, however we are testing the site at regular intervals to make sure it is performing at a satisfactory level. Sometimes the maintenance can be performed very quickly if there are no issues to resolve.

Kind Regards

Denzil

If anybody has any suggestions as to what my reply to them should be,  please feel free to post a reply here ;)

The exact and very same thing happens to me all the time.  I feel your pain.  Nothing we can do about it.

Personally, I think they are putting in a new DVD of some previously recorded session.

X-Mate, I'm with you. Making a serious progression there isn't fun when they close the table, and you are like a hawk trying to catch the next spin (timeline player anyway)... you log-in, wheel is spinning already, couldn't make your bet and a favorable number appears. [smiley=chat/smile26.gif]

They should not only tell you when they are going to close the table with anticipation, they should also provide with a timer for it to reopen! (So you can bet on time if waiting next spin as a crucial one).

Not ideal is it Victor  :-[

the one thing I have noticed is that at least so far it closes about 28/30 mins past the hour. In other words just before the next dealer would start..... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

If I can get somebody to answer my B&M question at least I can throw that at them when I email back...

I got this one video!!

I made one mistake;  I thought they took money I bet and the said bets not confirmed, but they didn't.

HOWEVER,  am I mistaken or is the 32 still being hit when the mantanence is over?  The audio is all screwed up.

Hi Sam,

What maintenance???
The table and the play was running and donĀ“t stop - is clear the 32 hit after you relog in.
They returned the chips to the bankroll or were missed - they say bets not confirmed?
If not that was a real cheat one.
Yes is difficult to trust them.

Cheers,
JLP.-

That not uncommon Sammy   :-[

They flick to "maintenance" you log out & then come back in & they have already started spinning..... >:(

You should get your money back when they the spin was VOID, email them the video link.....

BTW, very envious you have one cool voice.....[smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I expect to hear you calling a baseball game soon..... ;)

BTW, I thought 32 was hit again by the new dealer....

There's the rub!  It could have been.  No way to know..

JLP

I didn't lose my bet.  I didn't win and they did not keep the money on the "Bets not confirmed".

I see this all the time.

When a get a bit of time, I think I will email the Uk Gaming Commission, the casino I was using fall under them. I will see what "control" they have on the Live Wheel....

It cannot do any harm.....

This is a super short video.  I could not believe the dealer spun the ball twice.  See if you can see why she did.  Mute your sound or hear me talk twice or three times.
