Title: MM - Currency Bankroll
Post by: JLP on December 08, 2008, 07:28:33 PM
Hi All,

Would like to consider a theme that for what I have seen nobody have talk earlier.
Is the Currency of our Bankroll. In this case I am refering only to Online casinos.
We all know that is always better bigger bankroll - the more plenty of bankroll the better - to prevent the possible backs and drawdowns.

So I was analizing some conversion between different currencys :
Taking a base of 100USD (dollars) :

100 USD = 687.8 CNY (Chinese)
100 USD = 51.766.5 CRC (Costa Rica)
100 USD = 346,37 ARS (Argentinian)
100 USD = 245.91 (Brazil Real)
100 USD = 9323.22 JPY (Yen japanese)
100 USD = 4957.86 INR (Indian rupias)
100 USD = 1015.08 ZAR (Rand SA)
100 USD = 67.079.03 CLP (Chile)
100 USD = 233.650 COP (Colombia)

In this way playing with other currency we have more bankroll.
Which online casinos have different options we can opt on the type of currency to fund the account??
Which ´s your opinions?

Cheers,
JLP.-

From what I know JLP on-line casinos demand that you play with the currency from your country

Therefore the Uk pound for me as I am from England....

I think this is the "standard" at virtually every on-line casino... 8)

Hi mate,

Well, I am not sure if this is applied to all online casinos.
I have played at Fonbet (Sportsbook) with another currency - maybe the Sporstbooks are more flexible on this.
I can fund the account in the currency that I select.

Here I put currencies accepted on different online casinos and Sporstbooks :

MANSION
Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Hong Kong Dollars, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, New Zealand Dollars, Rand, Singapore Dollars, Swiss Francs, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars and Yen

BET365
Australian Dollars, Baht, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Hong Kong Dollars, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, Kronur, New Dollars, Ringgits, Singapore Dollars, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars, Yen and Yuan Renminbi

CENTREBET
Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, New Zealand Dollars, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars and Zlotych

EXPEKT
Baht, Belarus Rubles, Czech Koruny, Euros, Forint, Hong Kong Dollars, Hryvnia, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, Kronur, Krooni, Kuna, Lati, Litai, Ringgits, Rupiahs, Russian Rubles, Singapore Dollars, Slovakia Koruny, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars, Yuan Renminbi and Zlotych

BETWAY
Czech Koruny, Euros, Forint, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, Kronur, Krooni, Lati, Slovakia Koruny, U.S. Dollars and Zlotych

INTERCASINO
Euros, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, U.K. Pounds and U.S. Dollars

UNIBET
Euros, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, Swiss Francs, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars and Zlotych

10BET
Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Hong Kong Dollars, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, Ringgits, Singapore Dollars, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars, Yen, Yuan Renminbi and Zlotych

LADBROKES
Australian Dollars, Baht, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Hong Kong Dollars, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, New Zealand Dollars, Patacas, Rand, Ringgits, Singapore Dollars, Swiss Francs, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars, Yen and Yuan Renminbi

STAN JAMES
Australian Dollars, Baht, Canadian Dollars, Czech Koruny, Euros, Hong Kong Dollars, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, Liri, New Zealand Dollars, Rand, Ringgits, Rupiahs, Russian Rubles, Singapore Dollars, Slovakia Koruny, Swiss Francs, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars, Yen and Yuan Renminbi

PINBET
Australian Dollars, Baht, Canadian Dollars, Czech Koruny, Euros, Hong Kong Dollars, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, New Dollars, New Zealand Dollars, Ringgits, Singapore Dollars, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars, Yen, Yuan Renminbi and Zlotych

BETFRED
Australian Dollars, Baht, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Hong Kong Dollars, Krone, Kroner, Kronor, New Zealand Dollars, Rand, Ringgits, Singapore Dollars, U.K. Pounds, U.S. Dollars and Yen

So from this the Sporstbooks offer a mayor range.

Cheers,
JLP.-

At bet365 & joyland they leave the same minimums as far as I know.

I think leaving the same table range should be pretty much the standard practice, but then I have only limited experience with currency exchange at online casinos, namely only from Dollars to Euros.

Regards.

Hi mate,
It seems they work with customers from northern Europe.
The site looks fine but in the Sporstbook review they are cat. B (that is not bad), but are some comments that not talk very well :

nolinks://nolinks.sportsbookreview.com/forum/expekt/ (nolinks://nolinks.sportsbookreview.com/forum/expekt/)

Which is the tables min. and max. on the Live wheel??
They only have 1 type table or various options??

Cheers,
JLP.-

Yes Victor, I also have the same impression.
The min. is 1 unit no matter the currency base.

Hi JLP,
1 wheel (I think it's the same feed as gala casinos & Victor Chandler) 10 euros on a single number max.

It's something like that I will need to check  :-[

100 USD = 183.6 NZD (New zealand dollars)  -----> Little difference.
100 USD = 120.6 CHF (Switzerland francs) --------------------> Almost the same
100 USD = 1989.66 CZK (Koruny) -----------------------------> This can be
100 USD = 576.6 DKK (Kroner)
100 USD = 1210.91 EEK (Krooni)  -----------------------------> Can be
100 USD = 775.08 HKD (Hong Kong dollars)
100 USD = 11,264.58 ISK (Kronur Iceland) --------------------> Too high difference
100 USD = 364.299 MYR (Malasia Ringgits) ------------------- > Not much difference
100 USD = 703.803 NOK (Norwey kroner)
100 USD = 300.847 PLN (Poland Zlotich)
100 USD = 2,792.90 RUB (Russian rubles)   -------------------> Can be

If I take :
100 USD = 1989.66 CZK (Koruny)
The relation is 20/1

100 USD = 1210.91 EEK (Krooni)
The relation is 12/1
This one can be - the relation is more balanced (maybe 10/1 the ideal)

100 USD = 11,264.58 ISK (Kronur Iceland)
The relation is 113/1
That is too high, we will have to play for sooooooooo long to make a decent possible profit.
But in another way the risk is lower or little and it can be good to test systems in real money mode or test the casino itself prior to putting more money.

Opinions??

Cheers,
JLP.-

Hi mate,
Check it if you can.
The ones that have Live wheel in the previous list are :

Betfred
Ladbrokes
Expekt
Bet365
Canbet

The others are RNG, and also the ones that are more reliable and are in Cat A in the SBR are 5Dimes, The Greek,
Pinbet, Diamond Sportsbook, Matchbook, The Pig , Betcris and some other but all this ones are RNG and also the wheel is 00 American.

Cheers,
JLP.-

This an interesting and worth considering topic.

I'm planning to start playing for real by the beginning of 2009 [smiley=beer.gif] so I might consider using this.

So if my bank account is in Euros, and I open a casino account say in Krooni; now when I withdraw back to my bank account, will it go back to euros? (sorry I'm no currency expert)

Thanks mate,
Marven

Hi Marven,
I am also no expert on this, but I think the bank makes the conversion to Euros.
Look here in Fonbet what they say in relation to this and also in Ecocard.

Fonbet Sportsbook
Make a deposit:
Minimal amount: 5 USD (or equal in your currency).

Please notice that we use USD during transfer process from and to your account. Your betting currency can be different from USD as well as from your credit card currency. Fonbet uses Russia Central Bank exchange rates for converting currency, but it is possible that your bank will use another rates for calculations. As a result, the amount you get on your Fonbet account can be different from amount you spent on your bank (credit card) account. If you suppose the exchange was calculated incorrectly, please contact us by e-mail: admin@fonbet.com

ECOCARD
Does EcoCard accept only US dollar deposits?
NO. You may choose to deposit in other currencies as well – Euro, British Pounds, Swiss Franks, Israeli New Shekels, Danish Crones and other. Check the "Money Deposits" section for the list of currencies accepted by each payment method.

My EcoCard is in one currency, but my account with one of your Merchants is in another currency. How should I act if I want to pay with EcoCard?
There is absolutely no problem – the amount you wish to pay from EcoCard will be automatically converted to the currency of the Merchant according to the present day currency exchange rate.

Hope this helps.
Cheers,
JLP.-

Thanks JLP. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

What I'm going to try to do is to deposit as less as possible using my currency and build on the casino's money not mine; and for that, I think this idea is really helpful.

Cheers mate,
Marven
