Your attitude leaves much to be desired.

Your post raises many questions and others will probably address them.

xman1970 & twackler :

This is not about playing random or hot or cold or whatever 9 numbers. This is about money management and how large is your bankroll and how much are you willing to risk for in general small profit per winning session. Do you have any guarantee that any of your 9 numbers (whatever criteria you use in choosing numbers) will hit during e.g. 10, 20, 30, etc spins? How much you can resist continuous loses? Are you really willing to risk e.g. 1000 or more units if you don't hit anything during e.g. 36 spins (yes, it's quite possible)? etc, etc. Then why don't play simple Marty or some variant of D'Alembert? With a little luck on your side you'll earn much more and risk far less than with this one.

Ok. Last night I made absolutely wrong decision (Yes, it happens too). Being slightly bored with continuously playing my pretty controled and moderate successful "hard to earn/hard to loose" strategies, I choosed to play a session or two of this one as some sort of relaxing fun without any real expectations about sure winning system, being prepared for some moderate loss or small profit. After first loosing strike I realized how serious it is, and finally stopped when saw that the play and loses are totally out of control. Of course, don't recommend it anyone to make this sorts of "relaxing" experiments playing with real money.

Thanks.

Hey fitz,

sry to hear about your loss, but I guess without personally testing, your asking for trouble.  I personally play this 9 number system regularly and profit consistantly.  But I don't play the same group over and over again.  I use "waker" methodology and others use "hot" sectors... and if I miss x numbers of spins in a row I'll remove my bet and re-qualify.  So to sum it all up, this "GEM" has been good to some of us.

Tough luck,

Matt

Hello there fitzthecat. The "feline squad" at the forum grows!

I too have faced the horrible drawdowns and this is what I do now:

After the ideals are not met (i.e. 36/9 = 4 spins without hit) I just FLAT BET DISPERSION.

That is the main key to stand a better chance to profit with the ATILA and this is what I intend to show Anand.

It was a learning process to me too. Finally I realized the best way is not to go in continuous-play, flat bet dispersion, cancel out concentration and after a hit reset the progression the the least possible. Also, I used to go for the largest bank possible, but after being at only a few units of losing them, I preferred to go with a smaller bank which is recoupable. In my case, I did cut it to 500 units.

Also, in the "do not minimize wins" spirit, I like to re-invest units as in this post:

The main goal over here is to provide the ideas for each one of us to apply after making sure they "suit to us" or "we are comfortable with them" (i.e. drawdowns, required ratio of win/lost session, etc.). Testing is paramount. Also, the most advisable is to test with the target wheel(s).

Hope this set of recommendations helps in something.

Kind regards,
Victor

Hi Kingspin,

I think the original text is right.
You begin again with 1 unit chip on all 9 numbers after a positive balance.
You only add new chips when gone losing.
Also when you win and you are for example :

2  2  2  1 1 1 1 1 1 ---> here you win
now in the next bet you substract 1 unit so is :
2  2  1  1 1 1 1 1 1
Add 1 unit when lose , substract 1 unit when win.

Cheers,
JLP.-

Nope!!!!!!!  It was carefully explained.  The only time there is a reduction is upon a win that puts you in profit or higher profit.  Then it is a re-start.

The 2 (two) key sentences are:

If I win, then I need to count my chips, if my balance is positive I start over again with nine chips.

If I have less chips than I started with, I will continue with the progression, until I reach a profit.
