I think we can merge both:"We think this is reality" (Lonhro) and "Numbers do strange thing" (TwoCat).

There are really no strange things with numbers, it is all allowed, and this is the reality.
It is precisely the most professional approach to never really expect anything from a numerical sequence, only looking at it and labeling "typical" or "atypical", based on our own timeline of observations (i.e. only we can decide), and act accordingly.

At the Spanish circles we have this saying: "numbers do not exist", because in reality, the only thing which exists are numerical events, comprising N amount of numbers, and this is really what we are playing.

I.e. you have an event for 1 number, say number "wakes up" hitting 2 or more times after skipping 3 or more cycles. Then you can multiply it by as many 1-number events as you wish.

As much as it is valid to wait for the longest-sleeper to wake, it is valid also to use events such as "add +1 to the last number spun" or "substract one clockwise pocket in disk" or "sum 9, then substract 5" or any other imaginable operation resulting in a 1-number bet. The underlying event must be consistent throughout all imaginable combinations, this is just like roulette works. Multiply events and you multiply your entry-points. Which events? It doesn't matter as much as the actual amount of numbers covered, which is what "exists" and what rules the numerical event behaviour.

Then when players internalizes this, we talk about consistent events, and never numbers per se, as numbers do not exist (could be labelled as letters), they are merely the representation of an event :)

One could label the pockets with the names of 37 whores from Vegas.  Would it matter if the pocket formerly known as 6 is now Sugar?  To me it would.  I have long held the belief that certain groups of numbers entice or excite other numbers to come.  They are like birds of a feather........

In the book on coincidences I read, one physicist speculated that "things like to occur together".  Certain groups of numbers are like redneck cousins in that they like to get together and drink beer and tell lies.

We look at a permanence and we see that this number came this many times and this number came this many times and so on.........

What they don't tell you is that if you look at this number, and this number and this number....this number always comes within ten spins.  Simply, but not truthfully put, if you have 1 2 3 hit within ten spins, 4 will join them shortly.  Imagine a pie cut in six pieces; four large ones and two little ones.  When you say you have a pie cut in six pieces most people will imagine six equal-sized pieces.  They imagine the same with roulette spins.  They are wrong.  Cutting the pie differently does not alter the amount of available pie, only the amount served to two of your unlucky dinner guests.

Quote "One could label the pockets with the names of 37 whores from Vegas.  Would it matter if the pocket formerly known as 6 is now Sugar?"

Absolutely hillarious.

Let's say the American wheel top was        Candy, Herpes, Fantasy   instead of   2 , 0 , 28
and the bottom was        Desire, Yeasty, Victory    instead of  27, 00, 1

Would I still regulary see Fantasy show after Yeasty as 28 appears after 00????????
Even when the croup. isn't spinning bowties?
What if the girls real/birth names were used in leiu of their whore names?  RP

P.S.  If anyone has daughters with these stripper/whore names and is offended, I'm sorry.  By sorry I mean, I'm sorry that you named them something you now regret.
