LIFE / LUCK CYCLES

I will expand on roulette cycles. Everything in life goes through cycles UPS AND DOWNS.

That we can't predict is exactly how long a cycle can or will be. In roulette, weather it be luck or a system they both go through cycles. No system is all-good nor is luck all-good. The problem with roulette is we never know when we get on a table where we are in our luck cycle. Some people don't believe in luck so for them; they can call it cycles of positive and cycles of negative expectations. Me, I'm more pragmatic so I call it luck. Whichever, we can lengthen or shorten our luck cycle to varying degrees with systems. To exaggerate and prove the point, if you had the perfect system you would
never have bad luck.

I have proven to myself that every good system has reasonably predictable cycles of good and bad.

That being the case all that needs to be done is to wait the bad cycles out. The better the system the shorter the bad cycle and easier that is accomplished.

We never actually know where we jump in on a table in that bad luck cycle so that also determines our wait. We could jump in at the beginning of that bad luck cycle hence a long and costly wait or we could be lucky and jump in on the end of that very same bad luck cycle. Looking for trends and hope they hold can help. Understanding the law of averages can help in shortening the cycle and getting you onto a table at the right time.

I am not suggesting perfection only reasonably good luck. Our mission is to find things that shorten the bad luck cycles as much as possible. Constantly strive to "Get Better Or Get Beaten".

Runs of good & bad luck are equally likely. The more spins the closer the mathematical expectations that good and bad will converge. Even with a sound betting system you can't expect to win all the time.

You must have adequate patience, faith and bankroll to withstand to occasional losing streaks.

No matter how well conceived your strategy or system is you will always run the risk of leaving the wheel a loser. It often happens that just when you think something can't possibly happen again, that it does. For this reason you should never risk blowing your entire bank on just one roulette session.

Instead, divide your bank over five or ten sessions. Dividing your bank in this way ensures that these random negative occurrences don't totally wipe you out. This is very good advice, read and understand it. You will always do better in direct proportion to your knowledge and understanding of any system in roulette. Systems are only as good as your knowledge and understanding of the specific system you are playing at that moment.

The SYSTEMS PLAYER is a serious player and does not like to talk or kid around. They take his/her work seriously. After all he/she is constantly watching the trends and how the system is doing, always trying to improve it. Besides, every spin determines the next bet so you must pay very close attention. If you miss just 1 proper bet you could turn a winning run to a losing run.

Know and understand the rules.

Richard.

It is evident, from the original post, those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it...

You may wish to look up what happened to General George Armstrong Custer.

Split your bankroll and you will have your own Little Big Horn to contend with.

Splitting your bankroll is the advice of pap gaming writers whose readership consists of weekend ploppy gamblers.  And for the intended audience that may well be good advice so as to not lose the entire BR before the weekend is up.  Terrible advice for anyone who plays seriously or is even considering it.
