Playing The John Solitude Way....

I would make it available here but it's copyrighted & I just would not do that to the guy....


Ok, you will need a big bankroll, some discipline, and plenty of time....

To keep it simple (that way I can understand it [smiley=smiley.gif]) we bet on sections of the wheel that HAVEN'T hit for a long (but not too long) time.

ALL THE EXAMPLE DATA IS ON A SINGLE ZERO WHEEL

We are looking to bet a section of 12 / 13 numbers that haven't hit for 12 / 11 spins...

I track this by using the excellent RouletteXtreme software

Ok so the following 11 numbers show....

After 11 missed spins we now have a section of 13 numbers that have not hit so we bet on it.

the numbers in this section are 0/2/4/6/13/15/17/19/21/25/27/32/34

and the 8 step progression I use is as follows :-

and now we have a section of 12 numbers that have not hit for 12 spins so we can bet again (this only happens occasionally) on the numbers :-

2/4/6/13/15/17/19/21/25/27/32/34

Double Ooops [smiley=shocked.gif] If you bet 12 numbers / 12 misses or 13numbers / 11 misses John calculates that you have a 99+% of winning BUT as the test data shows This system is no "Holy Grail"

I am sorry for throwing cold water on this idea, but the progression and bankroll required would exclude many ordinary forum  members. It is good to exchange ideas but there is a big difference playing in virtual mode than laying $1000 down on the table. There are simpler ways to make money if you have a bankroll of those proportions. If you are prepared to play black chips then looking for imbalances in the short term, say 20-50 spins, should offer a better way to go in my opinion. How many times do you see the last 20 spins show 16:4 ratio on even chances?  There is now an opportunity to grab a couple of units and skip.

It is a fine observation, 16:4 I have seen it... but it is one of those "rare events".



The gist of roulette is betting the common "event" for a profit and not getting burned when the improbable happens.

If you can surf those waves, then you are a winner  [smiley=thumbup.gif]

             The bankroll and progression are just set to 1 unit many online casino's offer you the chance to bet 0.10 / 0.25 units on a single number. BTW you would NEVER lay down £1000 the last progression is £390  [smiley=wink.gif]

I haven't found a system betting red / black (I think that's what you are on about  :-?) that wins over a long period of so if you have one please post and share  [smiley=wink.gif]

You can see the Solitude method would of made £2,872-00 from 54 sessions

More testing to do, but I think that pretty good !!!

Thanks guys.  I am still against progressions which depend on the improbable not happening. We all know that it does. Perhaps for the online player this is practical, not for bricks and mortar casino. VLS I am surprised you regard 16/4 as rare. Across all even chances in roulette I find it happens regularly, within say 150-200 spins. So many other unusual events appear in that time giving the observant and patient player the opportunity. Now there are at least four pairs of even chances, R/B, H/L, O/E,  lines arranged in groups of 18. I have even seen one side of a wheel dominate to this extent. Now you wouldn't really think that was possible would you?  You could group finals in 18/19 ratio........1,3,5,7,9 and 2,4,6,8,0 if you prefer inside numbers.  The argument on long term is always popped out on forums to somehow try and convince that one particular set of rules is superior to another. It is a flawed argument in that no set of system rules is infallible against the wheel.  Only the player can adapt his play to suit his style and bankroll and maybe come out ahead consistently. What useful working ideas are gleaned from these forums are merely the first step to walking up a very steep hill. Unfortunately, many members appear to believe that one day the ultimate set of rules will be revealed that beats the game consistently for everyone. We are all individuals whose behaviour inside the casino does not always reflect the person who walked in with a clear head and clear set of rules.

Davo...welcome Mate.....I too sometimes see an opportunity to make some xtra units courtesy of John Solitude that Xman Is Quoting.

What I do Though is divide the single Zero wheel into half.

Draw a line from & includeing the #22 to #34 going clockwise.=19 numbers

Then still going clockwise that leaves you #6 to 9=18 number

I call them Top & bottom.

Now I have had Maltezan who is a dealer send me his tests & I have also my own tests.

In all those spins tested only twice has it gone to 10 times until it hits the other one on the 11 spin.

The Rest are from 5 to 8 times missed & then Hit.

John Solitude in His book says that for 18 to 19 to miss 7 times then its 99% plus degree of certainty to hit.
I have no reason to not believe what He says is the truth.
However from say 99.3% to a 100% can be many many spins.

So what I have done is find a 50c table & when it has missed 6 times on the bottom half I bet the 18 numbers x 50c=$9 If it wins I win $9
If that loses I bet $1 x 18=$18 if it wins I win $9
If that lost & so Far it has not I would bet $1.50 x 18=$27 if it wins I have My $54 Back
If that lost I would stop & accept the $54 loss.

Now some of our Members here have access to 10c tables so it could be a way for them to win a few dollars.

Please note I am not telling anyone to bet this way I am only saying what I have found over many thousands of spins that it could be a benefit to people in the future.To snare a few bucks here & there.

By the way the bets can be lower..knowing that one day I would put this forward..I looked ahead & designed those numbers so that the splits could be taken.
The splits are Z/1..5/8..6/9..10/11..13/14..16..20..23/24.. 27/30..33/36..31=$5.50 on a 50c wheel.
Or $1.10 on a 10c table

Xman.....Mate I have posted My evens plan in ( Lanky's Evens System ) section.

It works on all the even bets=Red Black...Odd Even...High & Low I prefer Red Black,high & Low.

I don't know if it will work long time or not but I have used it for about 3 years.

Now My Balls & I have become firm friends over the years.

And I am sure that relationship will continue providing I don't lose them.

So I am Loath to bet Them.

But On this occasion I will.

I will bet You that as Victor has said about the Lw pattern being there since roulette started.
So has My evens Plan.

They have both been there all this time...what it took was for someone to see them & tell about them.

Both Plans don't suit a lot of people because they involve sitting in virtual or waiting for the patterns to form so that they can be bet on.

They suit Me just fine because I am a Strategic Player that wants to bet when the Percentages are in My Favour to Win most times......And If I get the Time-line right then I am on My way to Winning.

Of Course there are never any Guarantees with any plan Especially when my Balls are at risk..lol

VLS I am surprised you regard 16/4 as rare.

You are right. I have seen the marquee at my local casino (about 14 numbers) full of only one color,  -this is RARE-, or with as little as 1 or 2 of one color with a "so so" frequency.

Since I'm not much of an even chances player I'm not monitoring all the even chances at once all the time. I basically only see/notice red/black at the marquee.

...Let's degrade it from the word "rare" then. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

For some people 150-200 spins is one full session mate.

I guess I have some advantage here as the VDU displays the last twenty numbers so it is quite easy to follow any number of even chances. I understand it is not so easy trying to follow marquees that only display 14 numbers. The event is certainly not rare and that 150 spins or so is just a guess. I suspect it happens more often. There seems to be some prominent members of these forums who have some aversion to playing the even chances in preference to dozens, columns, lines and inside numbers. I like comparing some of the methods that have been offered on this forum and others to see if there is any advantage not playing an even chance over 18 numbers scattered around the wheel. I haven't found a significant difference as yet. Amazing how the ball manages to weave its way around numbers when you think you have covered all possible options. Anyway back to the 16/4 caper:  the astute player should be able to take advantage of these situations to accumulate a couple of units consistently without resorting to life-saving progressions. To me 150-200 spins might be a session, but it is definitely worth the wait to find these imbalances. I suppose that doesn't suit some players who want easy rules and instant profits.  I put Lanky's even chance system through my last session on R/B and H/L  and the results were 10W/13L  and 22W/16L.  Only a small sample but the idea is good for a few units and does not appear to have wild swings of wins and losses so don't need large bankroll to support downswings.
