If I hear this statement one more time....lol. Do you ever hear that said from the dealer or another player? First off, the dealer has no damn idea whatever just hit is gonna hit again back to back. Sometimes I think they want you to feel stupid or something.

Second, if I change my bet and WIN, why is it I dont hear, "that sure was smart to NOT bet the same number again!" I was playing on Friday and had to listen to the dealer ACTING like she had some kind of inside information.  Ken

Yes, I hear stuff like that all the time. We should come up with some come back lines.

I like this: "You should tip me."

Most dealers think players are idiots and they want to make them feel even dumber. Read the dealer forums and you'll see dealers have no respect for players at all, they hate it when they win, even though it means more tips for them. They hate their jobs and take it out on the players.

the dealers see the players all the time. and they know that they all lose in the long run. they are idiots to keep playing.  i suppose some of the dealers are idiots themselves.

Spike!

Most dealers really don't like it when players talk tothem. Some are friendly but most of them just want to be left alone till break time. Apparently the two questions they hate the most are "Are you bored?" and "Where's the waitress?".  They also hate it when players beg them for numbers to hit, they realy don't like that at all. Dealing is a hard job, its tedius because you can't make any mistakes, and its very boring. I couldn't do it.

I tend to agree.

Mind you I actually never tip a dealer unless he/she treated me nicely with a smile and a polite tone, and didn't bother me with any stupid suggestions regarding my play. I think there should be a rule against the latter.

I actually saw a dealer in his 50's in Vegas at the Golden Nugget, take a couples chips and bet them for them. There was a young couple and me at the table, and the couple asked what was the best bet. He took 5 of their chips and explained why the bet was good. He placed them around the layout and lost. He grabbed 5 more and lost again. He ended up losing their stack of 20 $1 chips and they didn't bet once. They were real embarrassed and dumbfounded and wandered away. I was horrified! All the dealer said was 'Wow, thats never happened before.' and shrugged his shoulders. I still haven't gotten over it.

That's pretty outrageous. Where are the security cameras when stuff like this happens? ::)

I imagine it gets annoying.

Players do it even in online live-dealer casinos where you can communicate with the dealer via chat. I noticed that Visionary iGaming dealers (CelticCasino , BlachOrchidCasino) reply with things like "Ok I will do my best!" etc. (and then apologize when the number doesn't hit), while Playtech's live feed dealers (which have a larger customer base) always respond with the same phrase "I'm sorry player, the game is completely random", something like that.

I find most dealers are friendly.  It's usually the players that are rude.
