0..00 wheel. A situation question

Give me your opinion on this. All of the wheels at my casino here are 00 except one. These days, the min. bets on the 00 is usually $5. We all know playing on a 0 wheel is much better. Question being: What is the highest, minimum bet you would play to be on that 0 wheel? Dont say 'any amount' because I know thats not true. Its an interesting question, it shows where YOUR line is drawn between cutting the house edge in HALF but at what expense to your total BR?  Ken

I guess that would depend on what BR you're willing to risk.

Personally I wouldn't play at any wheel unless I had the right BR (in relation to the table's min. bets) and was confident enough that it has some sort of tilt.

Ok, I'll put this however you want it. Your BR is $500. You CAN play on a 00 with a $5 min. bet or.........

...or (preferably) play the 0 wheel with $10 min bets - provided it had the right conditions (basically I just need some sort of wheel tilt) since, for me, it's not really just the table min. bets I have to worry about.

(lol) Ok, in this pretend casino, there are no tilted wheels. So back to my question. There are plenty of 00 wheels with a $5 min. or even $3 min. What is the highest min. you would switch and play on the 0 wheel?  Ken

Have them first remove the dust   off the  single  0 wheel if you find one in the  good  ole  US of A.

Like I said, if no tilted/semi-tilted wheels, I don't play.

But if the wheels are playable for me, I'd go straight to the 0 wheel. If the min. bets are too high for my BR, I would move on. $10 or $20... doesn't matter, they just need to fit my BR and estimated edge, if any (in other words I don't have a "highest minimum", it all depends on how much money I brought with me to play with). I can't be playing a $10 table with a $100 BR and a 5% edge, too risky, fluctuation would kill me. But if I have the right BR then why the hell would I go back to 00 wheels with double the house edge (even if the table min. bets are $5)??

You have the BR? Play the 0 wheel. 50% less zeros to deal with while playing your progression.
