This is based on opinion, for everyone. One out of how many roulette dealers do you think can hit a certain section at will? We need a few definitions of course. 0 wheel. We'll say a section of 9 pockets? As far as percent, 55-65% of the spins if he/she wanted to....9 pockets. Whats your opinion? I say, 1 out of 70.  Ken

Spike!

Can you imagine if your brother in law could do that? You'd go to the casino twice a week, make a couple bets, make as much as you do working, and go home. The casino would never know. Why, it'd be the perfect crime. Yet you never hear about this actually happening. So I say 0 out of 100 can do it with any consistancy.

Mr J

I thought 1 in 70 was generous. We'll see what the AP (cough) guys have to say. It'll probably be 1 in 3.  :haha:  Ken

Dealers that can actually do it? I'd say no more than 1 in 100.

More experienced VB'ers would know better than me though.

Ken... Why don't you go find out for yourself? Play 5 numbers and put a bet or two on in the middle number for the dealer. Quit asking us if you won't believe our answers. Do your own reasearch for a change.

Mr J

"Quit asking us if you won't believe our answers. Do your own reasearch for a change" >>> Up your shitbox Davey-Jones. Give your opinion or dont answer at all, no biggie. Stop trying to ruin threads, I asked an interesting question.  If you dont like this question, start YOUR OWN thread.  Ken

You're asking 2 questions; first you said 'at will' and then '55-65% of spins'. Whatever, based on my experience and assuming no bias in the wheel, I would say neither is possible.

Mr J

AGAIN, I can word or re-word anyway you wish. I dont let people SKIP on an answer because of the small points. You said neither, thank you for your answer. Does that also mean, not even 1 in 900 dealers might have this 'skill'? (cough)  Ken

On a level wheel without a dominant ball drop, there isn't anyone alive that can do it.

On a wheel with a strong dominant ball drop, even a relatively new dealer can do it enough to overcome expectation.

Most dealers have no idea that they can do it, and even fewer understand why they can do it on just certain wheels.

The chance that Mr. J will understand this, (cough) 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000.

Herb explained it well.

The reason why I said it's pretty rare (no more than 1 in 100) is because:

1) It can only be done on wheels with a strong dominant ball drop.
2) Most dealers have no idea it can be done.

Only few dealers would attempt it + Only few wheels would allow it = It's rare.
