Simon - I don't know why the guy threw the second system in.  But have you tried the first system?

................ no, I haven't, maybe I should

It works better than most of the "record 200 spins, go forward three ,go back six then turn around three times and spit" systems.

.................. well that system was actually working pretty good for me till I got asked to leave for spitting.  oh well....

Really funny Simon - great imagery - being frog-marched to the Casino door by security who are wearing gum boots and raincoats LOL.

I would appreciate it if you would try this system. I'm not defending it - its not mine.

I know it goes against the purists - its a system that someone was selling (gasp), it works on RNG (groan), it uses a progression (oh no), it doesn't need a degree in quantum mechanics (faint). LOL

Simon,
Thanks for sharing your spreadsheet.  I take it from what you said that you're not interested in having us test your system.  I understand.  But if you have a change of heart, I'm always looking for a good flat betting system.

Ok Simon,  I think I've caught the idea.  I'll play with it a little on a practice RNG (this method should be better with RNG I think).  Your thorough analysis is impressive and quite beyond me, but I think I see what you mean about knowing when to exit and begin again.  Great idea.

Wow.   Really cool.  I like this strategy.  It's definitely all about knowing when to start and stop betting.

Have you looked into no longer betting on numbers that have already spun 2 or 3 times?

I'm also wondering about waiting for the first repeat to start betting.

Good luck,
Sam

I have yet to sit down and study the spreadsheets, but in the meantime I'm still practicing with the method.  I suspect that waiting ten spins and then betting on the past ten will be better, since it's so rare for there to be a hit in the first ten, and it would take two hits to be in profit anyway.  I played last night until only 6 numbers were left, then switched to playing dozens while betting one unit on each of the six sleepers.  At one point I was down 180(much earlier in the session), but I ended up with a profit of 115.  It was probably a total of 200 spins, and I stopped when all numbers had hit at least once.

Simon,
I just spent some time with the spreadsheet and realized that you have already figured out the betting after the first ten numbers thing.  Sorry to be redundant.

birdhands

Just played another RNG session.  PLayed until 6 numbers remained (I was at +50 at that point), then bet on the 6 unhit numbers until only 2 were left, then bet 2 units each on those until they hit.  I ended up at +185.

PS On this session I would have made an extra 100 or so if I had bet on the first ten numbers.  Oh well.

Played again to the bitter end, up +187.  Good that I skipped the first ten on this one.

Sam

Simon,
Are you still running spreadsheets on this?  Have you decided when to stop?

Sam

birdhands

Well it's still working out really well for me.  I'm keeping it secret because I assume this is what you want, but it would be good to have more testers and input, don't you think?

birdhands

Way to go, Simon.  That dozens system was working, but I didn't trust it completely.  I'm playing your system and Kingspin's lucky horse shoe right now.  I'm betting after ten, but still haven't decided when to stop.  So far I just stop whenever I'm up 50 units.

But I've also been toying around with it, sometimes taking it almost all the way and then betting the sleepers.

simon

there are many good reasons to bet what has hit, not what has not hit.  when I first started playing roulette years ago I used to play what had not hit.  now I know this is the completely wrong way to play.  that is my opinion anyway.  good luck.  (I take it you are not playing real wheels and betting real money, but playing some sort of electronic fun mode type of game-- which is a quite different situation from the real thing.)
