Post by: Ray on April 25, 2008, 04:42:25 PM
ok, lets see if i still got it.

lets see if those rng's are rigged.

sombody give me 24 spins from a rng, i will do the first test with 4 numbers

second test with 3 numbers and the third test with 2 numbers.

anyone is welcome to join the tests.

300 spins per session 900 spins totol.

after this i just might be ready to test that pesky enigmista. 8-)

Hi Ray
How are you Mate.

One observation. I know it will be difficult to actually do but you should actually physically play a RNG. Reason being is that the feeling is that the software in a RNG picks up the way you play and therefore adjust and compensates. Simple example would be that it picks up progression say on one dozen. You get away with it a couple of times and then it hits you. That dozen doesn't come up until your br is gone. It would be interesting, even if they are crooked to see if it'll pick up the way you play especially because you specialize in betting few numbers at a time and you flat bet.

On the other hand if they are crooked then your conventional numbers as you play it most probably won't show either. So hell yeah, give it go!

Cheers

jakka, i see your point, but there would be no need to rigg such a game that already has a edge, not saying they haven't but i used the ones they had in my town like a atm, to bad they took them out. >:(

if you play a live wheel long enough you could swear it was reading your mind. ;D

Ray,

If you're going to prove your point, then let's run it via 5k real spins.  Running just a couple hundred spins is meaningless.

no problemo, if you can get those 5000 spins to victor and he can validate them and follow along with the challenge so there will be no cheating.

i will use 1 to 6 numbers flat betting all the way.

when victor  recieves the numbers, herb may begin calling the numbers

herb you must call all 5000 and keep track of my W--L $.

anyone can join the challenge if they got the nuts.

VICTOR CAN WE OPEN A NEW SECTION FOR THIS CHALLENGE.

QuoteVICTOR CAN WE OPEN A NEW SECTION FOR THIS CHALLENGE.
Absolutely Yes!!!

I suggest this procedure:
This ensures no tampering of numbers as the file is downloaded previously to the challenge so results in the forum's challenge and the file at people's hardrive are easily audited :)

Now the only thing is the name of the section: what do you guys suggest?  8-)

:) hahaha, herb, you are right: good old trust also works good!!

Another valid model would be an automated authorization/retrieval method with two keys, one password for autorization for herb and another pass for number retrieval for ray.

So herb uploads the numbers file directly to server, then when he authorizes the retrieval of a number, ray uses his pass to get it and the number gets published for everyone to see.

This is simple and automated, no need for the human-based number-sending interaction ( it can slow down the action, as for waiting for the numbers to be send by the person providing them ).

The two main points:
This automated option I think is more efficient as you guys can make your challenge as fast-paced or as slow as you both wish/require

QuoteLanky has the 5,000 spins.  Shall we begin?

Lanky said a temporary "bye" to me by MSN, since he is geting admitted to the hospital for tests & operation, he said the whole process to be 5 days...

I vote for the automated option as explained in the previous post so you both do not need to use any 3rd human and can go at your own rithm.

Tell me if you like it for me to provide the script and the game is automatically "on"... and 100% in your hands.

Ray, the more I research these RNGs, the more convinced i become that they are not rigged in a traditional sense. The odds of the game is already in favor of the house, so if a casino wants to cheat you be it online or land casino beyond the house edge, they will outright do it. But we can give a dummy software too much credit. An application will give you only what you've programmed, that it. Neural Network are among the most advanced programs and you still have to apply so much brain power to it for it to give you an ounce of useful information. My theory is to understand what the application isnt programmed to do and do it and the program want know the difference, unless a human eye notices it and has the skill set to make an upgrade to the system to provide tighter real-time adjustments. The odds cannot be changed in the random framework of the game, it can only be adjusted in real-time. So, good luck Ray on the challenge. knock em dead. I believe you will do well. Although, I agree with jakk that a better test is to perform this challenge in real-time on a RNG, otherwise, there is no difference in the previous challenge you did with Herb. With RNGs, the program has the opportunity to react to in an unfavorable matter from spin to spin based upon selection and result. Personally, I think there are certain triggers that alters the programming algorithims. So your challenge to me will make a bigger difference against actual real-time play on a RNG. But, i guess starting here with this challenge is a start.
Good luck.

I agree that the challenge MUST be done real time - thus if the RNG is fixed and reacts to predictions then it will be obvious (to ray at least).
