Title: Chop.
Post by: darrencasino on December 06, 2008, 08:09:26 PM
So today has been my first experience with Bacarrat.

I've been at it for 10 hours. I've read loads, play tested live and RNG.
(Using RNG to familiarize with systems and play quicker)

I'm reading stuff about the "chop" I'm not sure what it is exactly.

Is it to do with the decks in the shoe?

If someone could explain it to me, but bare in mind this is my first day with Baccarat.

Thank you.

Hi darrencasino .

Mate I am new to Bac as well.

But I think the Term Chop means when it goes= bpbpbpb sort of thing.

Much like the Term in Roulette of when it Zig Zags= rbrbrbrbr

Your Friend.

Lanky.

Hi darrencasino

Lanky spot on - chop = pbpbpb , streak = ppp or bbb

I used to play loads of bac online before I got hooked on roulette - it does have many advantages over roulette even chance bets , the chops and streaks tend not to be as long as in roulette. However beware you dont get caught out playing simply martingale - chops of upto 20 still occur which will kill your bankroll.

Thanks Guys.

I read your system and help on the Roulette forums Lanky. Most impressive.
And had mixed results in playtesting but they DID favour on the + side on all
sessions I played :)

The only thing I found was (obviously this isn't extensive testing) was waiting for
the opportunity to start the betting run seemed to take a while, but thats fine, I have
patience, and if its winning, even better. I would like to add that I think its marvelous
what you did as I read the whole thread. Hats off to you.

I'll learn more I'm sure, maybe I just need a break from roulette or maybe one day I'll
find a day to incorporate the two together.

I didn't know there could be so much to a simple game, just makes it more interesting.

I'll continue reading and playing and I'm sure some good will come of it.

I did try making a few roulette systems myself, but they were nothing new and were
definitely losers in the end.

I tried a dozens system, which involved a wait and betting on the current hot and the current
sleeper, that worked for a little while, but, as anyone knows, the progressions on two dozens
go seriously high, you would need a BR very and balls of steel as the saying goes, and who is
to say you could miss the damn thing all day (although I know they're stats to say otherwise)
but you get my point for not posting it.

Thanks again to both. :)
