Title: Why I Love The Martingale
Post by: MR_Martingale on August 24, 2008, 09:25:04 AM
I win 88% of the time playing roulette which have tables that have a $500 max. bet that I play at.

I use only Martingale lines that I myself have created.
In High School... yes I was very good in math.
You have to be in order to beat roulette in the long run.
And you have to "Hit and Run" and leave the casino with their money.
Get long winning streaks going. Its not how much you win that is important. The fact is you must not lose! You must learn to accept $55 wins if you don't feel real good that day.

Since this is my first post on this great looking website I will give all of you the Martingale line I use most.

15 - 25 - 50 - 100 - 200 - 500

When using a Martingale you need to make most of your money at the beginning of the progression. This being my favorite line does not do this. But since I have had great success with it then I'm not going to complain.

If I'm not hitting real well on the first spin that day then the $15 bet becomes a $10 bet. Making the line a $15 profit instead of a $10 profit. Except on the $500 bet which gets rewarded with $110 or $115 win if I get there and it hits.

I always play on the outside using Black/Red or Odd/Even.
The Martingale above is a six number betting progression.
The six number betting progression that I use has 64 different combinations. Using Black & Red as examples...

BBBBBB
RRRRRR
RBBBBB
RRBBBB
RRRBBB
RRRRBB
RRRRRB etc.
For a total of 64 different combinations or 2^6 or 2x2x2x2x2x2 = 64

Only one of these 64 possible combinations can beat you!
But thats not taking into consideration the 0 & 00 which I never worry about.

I usually play "Follow the Color" or I will play the "Mirror System"
There are other systems I use also but these are my two favorites.

The "Mirror System" is where I will go back six spins... Write these colors down on a piece of paper. For example the last six colors were  RBRRBB so the last color that came up was a black.

So I would play the opposite in my 6 bet Martingale progression.
I would bet BRBBRR

And If I am hitting and feeling real good that day then I would jump into a higher Martingale Line... Perhaps a 5X line like this...

35 - 75 - 125 -250 - 500

Good Luck to ALL!

MM

Hi Mr Martingale and [smiley=welcome/welcome.gif] to the forum.

Yes Martingale works for a period of time and you can win more than you lose.
I have run tests and can prove that you can play for 7 years before you hit the sequens from hell.
But again it depends on if you are at the casino that day playing to experience that ;)

Sorry to say this mate, but your strategy above would not pass 100 000.

Mr Martingale.
If you feel good about your strategy then its okay.
Keep winning and have fun.
If you would like to explore it a littel bit futher then you could take a look at this post that was made by JLP.

Lucky Strike,

Thanks for the links!

Money Management is really the key when people go into casino's.

You guys should try to go 2 months without booking a loser in your casino.

Let's say my win goal is $125 to $150 per casino trip.

When I reach this plateau I "Hit & Run" immediately.

So in two months lets say I played 30 times and never lost.

That would be a profit of $4,000 aprox.

When things start to go bad, take some time off and lower your bets.

Roulette can be beat in the long run! I am positive it can be!

Because I control when I leave certain tables, I control when I leave the casino, I control what bets I make and for how much!

You get ahead you go home! Its that simple!

Cheers & Good Luck!

Well Mr Martingale its nice to have you here ;)

Just so you know and if you want to convert to grind then we can start a new topic.

The only thing you have to learn is the Law of average the Law of series the Law of correction.

Patters are based upon values, math probability and statistics.

Here is one patters "wave of chaos" with correction...

Result LWWWWWWWLWW

23   -------- Window the wave starts here, a beutiful tornado of chaos...

Ass you can see there is no need to use a progression.
Its a game of waves up and downs.
When the the tornado starts and gets stronger you just wait for it to get weak, when it does, then you start to play...

There is a very easy formula for this and you have to know how to reconice indictions, triggers for correction.

Here is the values regarding this one, they change based upon the method you will use...
Singels has the value of 1
Series of 2 has the value of 0
Series of 3 has the value of 1
Series of 4 has the value of 2
And so it goes.

Try to indentify the waves and caculate the statistcal ecart.
Its singels and series of 2 contra larger series and they hit imbalance and balance, waves, ride them don´t force them.

There is a hudge differens if you shase for an event and try to make a profit, when you can let the events come to you for free, if you know how.

The first rule of casino gambling is to make your money goal and get the hell out of there!

This is where Oscar's Grind fails!
You guys can't sit in a smoke filled casino with all that racket and expect to come out a winner after you have been sitting in a casino for 4 hours flat betting a roulette table.

I started going into Casino's in Reno NV when I was 19 years old.
Been there and done everything!

nolinks://nolinks.markpilarski.com/column41-2.html (nolinks://nolinks.markpilarski.com/column41-2.html)

When three red numbers come up in a row how come a few minutes later it has grown to eight red numbers have come up in a row?!

I see this all the time in Roulette. Streaks all over the place!
This is why Roulette is very much beatable!

You bet with the flow!

Mr Martingale I hear you mate, the issue here is you will get no where using patterns as you see them.

There is no patterns there is only waves, if you understand them, then you can follow the wheel.

The laws of nature cant extract the ball or the outcomes, because they are a part of the whole.

Ho would use oscar gring and martingale, not me, but there is some that would and thats sad.

If you play in Reno then why not play a table that goes from $5 - $5000?

That would give you 10 bites at the apple.  11 if you made your last bet the table max. and tried to recover some losses that way.

Mr_Martingale.

I have a question for you.

You said:

''The "Mirror System" is where I will go back six spins... Write these colors down on a piece of paper. For example the last six colors were  RBRRBB so the last color that came up was a black.

So I would play the opposite in my 6 bet Martingale progression.
I would bet BRBBRR''

Lets say you look the 5 last spins like you say above.

RBRRBB (last 6 outcome)
BRBBRR (you bet)
BBBR (spin, spin, spin, hit, win)
What would be your next bet -> BBRRBB?

Thank you.

Jur,

I don't quite understand what you mean.

When I play the "Mirror System" using a Martingale, after my first win in the progression I stop and then I pocket the $$$.

If I'm playing the "Mirror System" using red/black and I win on my second bet say then I would go back to the beginning and start again using a different system.(while pocketing a profit)   I would not play the "Mirror System" back to back using red/black. The 2nd time I would try odd/even or high/low or I might play "Follow the Color"  or I might just leave the table.
I never play the "Mirror System" back to back using the same betting fields.

I hope I answered your question.

Mrs. Martingale, that's smart idea after win on color go try luck on E/O and than on L/H. I tested the mirror on colors and got a satisfied  results. I played it my way (like Sinatra): Always threw out the last color (6th) and included the new coming color (1st). Kept always 6 liquid colors and betting in reverse. Visually speaking, the new color pushed out the last one of the 6 colors. Always 6 and bet in reverse order. I used down to the earth progression. Otherwise, simple and effective system. Thanks Mr. Martingale.

You are welcome Hermes!

The "Mirror System" combined with a 6 or 7 bet Martingale progression is a very effective way to pocket the casino's money.
And whats cool is the casino will not be able to figure out your betting scheme!  8)

They didn't found out what I am doing. I played RNGs Baccarat on Tropez and won in 30 minutes 197.97, $5 minimum. It seems to work better on baccarat than on roulette. The only danger is when Player or Banker comes 12 in row and you don't break the streak in half. You would bet all the time on the wrong side. But for streak up to 5 it is no danger. How could we do it more immune to long streaks?
Very good mirror I tell you. It can be used on Roulette, SicBo (S/B), Baccarat and Craps (PL/DPL),
From now on I am in love with Martingale, too.

Well I will just add this, I advice you to stay away from the mirror system.

It does not work and its based upon a fallacy, don´t use it.

You wont win more then you lose and there is no way for you to break even.

There is nothing to it, use any patterns you like, they all fail, some of them works for 5 to 7 years with no loses, but the mirror system that you can read about here is not one of them.

I have Roulette Extreme 2.0 software on my computer.

I kick its A$$ everyday using a 6 bet Martingale and playing the "Mirror System".

I get ahead, then I quit when I get ahead,  and then I pocket the profits!

It works the same way in a casino!

There is more to Roulette then just betting schemes.

Its called money management!

If you think you're going to lose every time then you will lose every time.

This is the way Lucky Strike thinks!

Do not think like Lucky Strike does or you will become a loser for sure!

We all know that it is not the holy grail but we all know that it is not the holy grave, either. I would say if you lose the 6 bets played in reverse take a brake. I few partial bankrolls will be needed. I have no experience with this strategy but I think that if we play for $100 win and go it can not hurt us often. Mr. Martingale how many times did you lose the 6 bet progression since you play the system?
I played it again by taking new one to the front and throwing away the last one and it still wins (always 6). If you jump after win on B/R to E/O and after win to L/H you are actually changing the environment what's good idea because it is more difficult to catch you on the tree (Cherry tree).
Yes, LS seems too critical and negative, no wonder after so many bad experiences. They cumulate. LS keep it simple and positive, that's it.

I would have to personally see a Martingale work for an extended period of time before I believed it.  Mr. Martingale, when I return from vacation on September 2nd, I might just have to challenge you to prove this.

LS might be willing to work with me on this.

Hermes I don´t want to offend any one and I just say what I say because I have done them all, thats why I am critical but not negativ.

"If you play in Reno then why not play a table that goes from $5 - $5000"

Reno has tables with that kind of spread? Does that include both inside and outside bets?
Title: Re: Why I Love The Martingale
Post by: Talesman on August 26, 2008, 11:41:28 PM

Let me tell you this.

ALL Harrah's owned properties, wherever located, have that spread and aside from bac. which usually starts at $25 there. The rest of the tables - that  covers craps, roulette, BJ etc. have that spread  Oh, and Rapid Roulette from $2.50 to $5,000 at all properties that have that game.

I am going to say ditto for MGM properties.  And at least one MGM property in Las Vegas has much higher table limits on the main floor.  They recently raised it and I think the news report said $25k. I am not a fan of MGM except for Gold Strike in Tunica so I have no first-person knowledge as I won't ever again play their properties in LV.

Most roulette tables at a Harrah's-owned property are $5-$5000 on the outside and $100 straight-up.  I do not recall offhand what the max. bet is on the 2:1.  I think it is $500 but don't quote me.

10
20
40
80
160
320
640
1,280
2,560
5,000

So anyone can use these progression amounts above for outside bets (Red,Black, odd, even, 1-18, 19-36)at any Harrah's?
Title: Re: Why I Love The Martingale
Post by: Talesman on August 27, 2008, 01:47:59 AM

That's correct, leumas.

But let me tell you thast the moment you place a black chip on the outside the dealer will call "black on the outside" and a Floor person may or may not observe.  Once you put more than that down, the Floor will tell the 'eye in the sky' to zoom in on that table.

Nothing personal, just std. procedure for that corporation.  And it is for your protection.

If you were at their Bac table you could be playing purple chips or higher and while the table would be watched, nothing extraordinary would occur.  I think that is because there usually is a Floor person standing there most of the time anyway.

Get rich and famous.

You guys seem interested in how I play so I will give you some tips.  8)

The Martingale loses from time to time, we all know this.
But if you want to make a quick $50 to pay for your lottery tickets then the Martingale is your choice ride!

The way I beat the casino with my 6X Martingale is I set a low goal each time I enter the casino.

My goal almost every time is $125 to $150.
In less than an hour I usually have my goal.
Because I like to play at tables with only me and the Dealer.
Hit and Run, move from table to table and then I go home with my $130 bucks. ok
39 booked winners in a row is my record!
Over two months without losing.  So do the math...
39 X 130 = $5,070 bucks (aprox.)
One strike out in my 6X Martingale comes to a loss of $890 bucks.
$5,070 minus $890 = $4,180 profit
Sometimes if I am feeling real good and doing great I will try for $230 or even $330 that day instead of $130.

So far this year I have had two double busts.
Thats a 6X Martingale losing in back to back days (2 times)-(it does happen)
But I have never lost 3 days in a row however.
Roulette is a very streaky game.
When you're hot, you're hot and when you're not,  you're not.

Here is something that very few of you guys probably know and I'm going to share it with all of you...

On a double zero wheel, while betting on even money outside bets, your Marty will hit a losing streak of 6 once every 47 spins.
A losing streak of 7 occurs once every 89 spins.
These are only mathamatical averages however.

5 - 10 - 25 - 50 - 100 - 200 - 500  I use to play this 7X Marty alot. But I wasn't making enough money while hardly ever busting out so I went to the 6X Marty.

So do you guys see whats going on here?

Spend short time periods in the casino.
Hit and run - cash out and go home with your profit.
Get long winning streaks going. Win 30 days in a row!
Then if your 6X Marty busts out then you will have overage to account for the one day big loss.

I have alot more tips that I can give you guys but I have to go.

Good Luck!

MM

Sorry LS if I  bothered you too much. I player all together around 300 spins/hands on roulette and baccarat and encountered maximum 4 mistakes yet. That's 5-10-20-40-80 won. I wouldn't trust the Martingale but rather try Fibonacci or D' Alembert (W-1 unit,L+1 unit). I told you it will lose sometimes but if it win more than lose I like it. I played this system successfully for years  but little bit different.
R -  B - R           - is loss
R -  B - R
B    B    B
R    R -  B
R    R -  B
R -  B    B
It was miror (the same face) and I bet on occurence of the same color in the next line. I did the same with dozens and columns and it
worked good. It was a static system. Now when I throw the oldest number out and take the last coming number in the formation of 6 it is a liquid system.
Test it I am interested in the results, too.

If that session from hell comes and you lose that 10 bets, you'll have to win 883 to back up your loss.

To risky for me. I'm sure you'll lose one time in 883 times.

But hey, if you're sure you won't lose, maybe this is your thing.

That's true. Devil and the Murphy's Law never sleep or go to holiday, and always hit you when you expect it least! Bacteria and viruses do the same. I wouldn't risk that much. $1,000 is maximum I invest in any system, even holy grail. If it needs more forget it. It takes ages to recover losses. Probably your grandchildren still will have to make the recovery when you pass away.
