Gang of 2,000+

A few months ago while playing the G.U.T. on the Microgaming wheel, I seemed to be unable to lose.  My bankroll grew almost daily--from 200 units to 1,360 units.  Then they changed the wheel from whatever brand and style it was to the John Huxley Starburst.  Since then, the G.U.T. has been a struggle and is slowly going downhill.

For a moment let's assume that it was not luck that got me to 1,360 and not luck that took me down.

Yet, something did.....

Is it possible that a system will work on one style of wheel and not another?  That's it.  Any comment is appreciated.

Before I even read your text Sam, the answer was YES!

The answer is a pineapple! It was probably going to happen anyway.

Shorty

This is like saying that some sequences aren't possible on certain wheels. Every sequence is as possible as the next. Even I couldn't seem to lose with the GUT, won over 1000 units. Then I just couldn't seem to win.

My advice: Cash out all winnings once the losing streak starts, that's what I did.

Hi TCS,

I did all my testings on different "wheels" RNG, Live, Touchbet(airball), so I think it should work on every "wheel".
I also recorded a drawback of more than 700 units until it started to recover.

In you case: You started with a unit-size of $,5 and had a winning streak. then you changed to $1 units. Now that you are in a drawdown your losing double of what you have won at starting.

I added this kind of MM: First bet is always 1ct. If it is winning and I think it will be a winning trot I change to 10ct. It is a kind of High/Low.

Playing on OC-RNG there is always the possibility that there is a little software in the back which kills you.
I don´t know if this is possible at Live-Wheels, I don´t think so.

I always said there are three kinds of direction in the play:
winning
wining/losing
losing

The first two we don´t mind. The third we have to sit out.

What can YOU do?
- Change Casino
- play Low
- watch only and restart playing when the strategy starts winning again.

Lohnro:  The answer is a pineapple??  I'm not familiar with this expression.

Shorty:  I agree with your thoughts as they are mine.  It just all seems different.

winkel:  Thanks for the encouragement.

Oki I will ask a question do systems have a shelf life in other words most test well for a few thousand spins only to then fail it is like the casino edge is catching up

What can be so confusing is they can win lots to start why can't they just fail slowly ;D in testing sometimes it is hard to see the edge hitting because they do so well to start I think it is called standard deviation but so many standard deviate up at the start of testing

I have thought about the "shelf life" theory.  Let's say I start system A and play until I start to loose.  I decide the system has expired and toss it.  About that time you start system A.  Now, does the "shelf life" apply to me only or will you begin with a loosing system?

I've always felt the system doesn't change; something in the user or the environment does.

Ok I have another question

Why do systems sometimes test very well and then fail when real money is put on  even tho you are sticking strictly to the rules of that method

Maybe it has something to do with reverse engineering

I will venture into the subconscious a bit.  Many people do not know how to truly test.  First, you look at your numbers one at a time with the remainder covered. If not, when you know the system well enough, you will unconsciously look ahead and make a decision based on what you see in the numbers.  You MUST use a cover for the numbers and see them one at a time....UNLESS......you are testing a purely mechanical system where there are no decisions to be made.  Still you could look ahead and see the number 35 and know a win was coming if you stayed.  Very dangerous testing.

And........

Many people use the play mode at RNG casinos.  This is as worthless as tits on a boar hog.

Math.  Many times people do not do the math correctly when testing cold numbers.  When you play for real, the computer will calculate correctly.

Psychological.  When you're on paper and down $500 that's no big deal.  When you're playing for real and down that much, you should be sweating bullets. AND YOU WILL MAKE MISTAKES AND MAY NOT EVEN KNOW IT.  This is called playing out of your comfort zone and you're brain just does not function as well when you're losing the rent money as it does when you're losing Monopoly money.  This is why you MUST work your way up from tiny bets and get comfortable with your system.

Then there's selective memory.  Do not trust your study to memory; write down the daily totals.  Otherwise, you will forget the loses and remember the wins.  While playing live, you do not have this problem as the casino will certainly remember your losses.

Reverse engineering.......

This happens when someone is doing a study and "tweaks" the system half way through.  No, don't do that!  Start a new study and look forward to numbers you haven't seen not backward to numbers you have.  Anyone can pick the winning horse when the announcer says, "It's official.  In the winner's circle..."

Somebody stop me.........

I have a friend who is testing baccarat systems he has a set of like 40 shoes that have beaten most of the systems he has tested them with
I wish we could have a set of roulette numbers like that we could cal lthem control spins if roulette method does good against them then we could carry on the testing

Sorry Sam. When my dad use to take me to the races, he use to say that punters left their brain at the door, and wore a pineapple for a head. So the answer for any action or unanswerable question, became, a pineapple.
