After trying HUNDREDS  :o  of roulette systems, for the time being i have differed to other casino games - although i have 2 definite systems for roulette; one of which made 14,000  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]  on Dublin Bet - i still want to play Baccarat or Blackjack.

Baccarat simply because of the low house edge (1.06% on the banker bet) and Blackjack, well because i can card count.

But my question is that does anyone know of betting strategies for these games?

Lw wont be much use on Baccarat because u cant chart events  - its either lose or win  :-/

So here i see a good possibility for the 6 point divisor plan.

So i was after any suggestions as to money management/strategies for these games (money management is key here i think because you cant really apply a "system" - or can you?)

As always, any input is appreciated  [smiley=smiley.gif]

Quotestill want to play Baccarat or Blackjack.

I think people should specialize in one game in order to excel.

But, that's my opinion only.

Now, beware of the variance dog biting you when you switch game, I've seen it way too many times: card players /slash/ roulette players making a killing at one game and then losing it all at the other.

I have a neighbour who is a proficient roulette player told me he was going to quit going to the casino because of card games were ruining him. Mind you, the guy said he barely could recoup card losses at the wheel. (And I've been sharing table with him and seen him target disk sectors very proficiently. Turning a 200-unit bank into nearly 1000+ many times, then spoiling it out at the cards tables).

By the way, I don't go near the card games at my local casino.

My friend Martin was asking me about how are they dealt in town and I answered frankly: I only go to the casino to play Roulette, I don't even know too much which slots or cards or any other games they offer. If a casino has a Roulette table, then that's what I'm going there for. Specialization makes excellence.

(My opinion).

Oh mate, one notorious case of a roulette player spilling his roulette-earned wealth at the card tables was Mr. Garcia, the creator of the method who has his name (1,3,7 against the short series, 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 of the passive for the long ones).

What he won at the roulette table lost it at a card game named "trente et quarente", so casino management was very happy such a proficient roulette player was addicted to a card game!!!

Now that you mention it - Specialization makes excellence - it really does.

I gave my try at Dublin bet and only played Texas Hold em, Baccarat and Blackjack.

Now blackjack was great - just count the cards and know when to bet - its almost funny how efficient it its (and how you KNOW when the dealer will bust).

Baccarat was not that great - I'm not the kind of person to go after only a trend - i need persuasion  :)  so like in roulette becuase i can know when to bet and where but in Baccaract it relies on luck to much - u cant even count cards or use any system - just money management. So I'm going to give baccarat a miss.

Now on Texas Hold em was going so good (Sarcasm) that i ended up going to play roulette to get more money  :P

So now I'm limiting my self to roulette and blackjack - simply because with out much effort i have worked out how to beat blackjack and i've spent so much time with roulette that Specialization HAS made excellence; i hope  ;D (well enough to make some good money)

Thanks for your opinions Victor  [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif] - you have given me some good advice.

Advantage Player - just wondering what card counting do you use for blackjack ? (hi / lo?), and how did you learn, just practise and deck of cards? I think with a good money management stategy, its not too hard to win at blackjack.

Advantage Player - have you read my money management post on midas system? Have you read the book by Bruce Irwin - How To Win At Casino Gambling. He claims with a little knowledge and his money management, he never lost at roulette , baccarat, craps and blackjack!!

Advantage.Player

I use the hi/lo methods and divide the count by the remaining decks to get a true count.

I haven't that book but by the sound of it i need to  ;)

QuoteHave you read the book by Bruce Irwin - How To Win At Casino Gambling.

Witho, if you have it, please share that scheme with us and enrich the Money Management section.

P.S. Don't forget to explain it in your own words. (avoid exact Copy/Paste for any text other than the actual progression -i.e. avoid copying the author's experiences and particular expressions with this MM exactly as related/recounted by him).

P.S.2: We will be very grateful mate. Particularly me. I enjoy reading as much as I can about ways/approaches to gambling and specially applicable to this wonderful game of roulette. Plus, it would be a bonus to "never lose at roulette , baccarat, craps and blackjack!!". That would really make you:  [smiley=Santa001.gif]

Hi Victor, it's a shame I still don't have the book, I leant it to a friend and never got it back!. I did post the MM strategy, its called the midas method, apparently Bruce Irwin was nicknamed this as he always won. I found the method was pretty good, but as far as never losing goes, I'm not sure. It has many similarities to your cancellation method.

He also did outline many bet selection strategies and the way he played roulette. I will post them in bet selection for others to see. He did say that in his early days he only used to play roulette and craps, but he then learned blackjack for variety. He said his midas method was so powerful that it could be used for any even money games

The book is definately entertaining to read and he goes through his whole life of gambling.

Witho Please tell me where that gentlemans book is to be found .TKS Col

Hi colin, When I first started playing roulette seriously, I was reading all the internet sites, selling systems, there was one site which still exists, which sells the 'midas touch' I read a bit about it and found out that the seller was basically trying to sell Bruce Irwins method which they claim they have improved and give you bonus info etc. I was reluctant to pay the money they were asking, so I looked for his book online at Amazon books, I ordered it from them, it cost me $15 aus include postage to australia, and it came. He gives his whole life story, and then the last chapter is his midas system given as a reward for reading his book.

Hi where can we buy that special book?? :)

"I think people should specialize in one game in order to excel." >>> I agree Victor. This has ALWAYS been my thought as well. Roulette for me, nothing else!  Ken

Once my boos had gone and here I read through internet about.  ,I may say here The 5-Count method for finding hot shooters and reducing a player's overall risk at the craps table starts with a point number (the "point numbers" are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) and ends with a point number.
