There is some members I know that are real players not gamblers.
Now even if they are professionals its rare that you hear them talk about Capitalization.

First I think there is some starters that we have to agree on before we start to talk about Capitalization.

When is our money our money if we put them at risk all the times.
If we put them at risk at all times we can regard them to be some one else money.
The Games or the Casinos money!

Now when I talk about an Capitalization method I assume you have some kind of gambling account and I assume that you keep record of winnings and loses.
This is simple and makes you become a player and not an gambler aT no time at all.

Well as I see it we have to make an distinction betwen how your money is an investment and how your money use an capitalizing method.

First you have the basic foundation regarding what your money is as an investment.
Second comes the basic foundation regarding how you Handel your money at the tables.

I think many gamblers and players are getting the picture wrong.

Your money is not your money as long as you are prepared to play or gambling with them.
Then your money is a part of the game and its the games money or if you prefer the casinos money as long as you are prepared to use them for gambling and put them at risk.

To day or tomorrow or next week does not matter.
If you have a gambling account of some kind then its an part of the game at all times and its money that is at risk at all times.

The day when you decide to take an procent or a cut from your gambling account the games money then it becomes your money.
If you don't adding more money to your gambling account except winnings then you have a way to let the games money become your money.

You create an investment then you milk it for money and not the other way around.
And regarding break even it is allway the same thing as winning.

Capitalization is about money management and how to make your winnings help you to generate more winnings and to find your self hitting an rung where you don't temporally play with your own money any more.
That is a nice thing playing with the Casinos money.
But here we are going to take it a step futher then that.

Cheers LS

Here is an exampel I have copy from win-maxx.com and I will change it to my own words with my own image if this copy becomes an issue.

Here is an capitalization of profits on the basis of a modest average gain of 4 units per attack.
Starting bankroll: US $ 2000 in 20 units of $ 100.
The betsize is increased about $ 100 after a each profit of $ 2000. Amounts which cannot be divided accordingly are being used to build a reserve.

The following table should make the capitalization clear:

So within twenty attacks, each gaining 4 units, the starting bankroll of $ 2000 has been increased to $ 41000, obtaining a total profit of $ 39000! In the process of this capitalization $ 8000 for the formation of a reserve was pulled out.

The principle of this procedure consists of increasing the size of units, if gains of the amount of the starting bankroll were obtained and those gains distributed on the 20 starting units. Thus these are doubled, trippled etc., whereby the amounts which can not be divided are pulled out and used as a reserve.

This reserve is to protect the starting capital for the little probable case in which one should lose the capitalized money with one of the last eight attacks.

If you terminate this first undertaking with a modest capital of $ 2000, you can try a second attempt with a starting bankroll of $ 8000 (reserve of attempt 1), which must be divided into 20 units of $ 400. The values of the above table then have to be multiplied by four. The last won bets reach then a size of $ 6000 and a total gain of $ 156000 is achieved.

Good post LS. Capitalization is very important if you are going to take roulette seriously. I was unemployed for an extended period of time late last year, and I had an envelope in my draw that contained my roulette money. I took this whole thing to the casino (where I went 3 - 4 days per week) and whatever I won went into the envelope.

Now whenever I needed money for goods like alcohol, food, petrol, and alcohol I would take it straight out of my envelope, but I would never go below the original amount I had set for playing. Your money isn't your money until you have designated it for something other than gambling.
