Has anyone ever seen this system ?

Can anyone name and/or describe the rules for the system/method below.

I watched someone playing this way at the local casino in 1999 (yes 13 years ago) and took the following notes.
After running the numbers I cannot see how it would be profitable since he was covering every possible number.
Presumably the player was trying to win 1 chip per spin.

This was on a Single 0 Roulette Wheel, thus only losing half your even chance bets if the 0 won.

The player would be seems to be using method A or B for each spin.
Whatever number won on the last spin, would determine where the player would place his biggest bet for the next spin.
If a High number won, he would play Method A for the next spin.
if a Low number won, he would play Method B for the next spin

I do not remember what the player did when the green zero won.

I do not know how the player determined the chip progression for the double streets, or for the High/Low.

Bet Method A

1 chip on 0
4 to 6 chips on double street 1-6
4 to 6 chips on double street 7-12
4 to 6 chips on double street 13-18
6 to 20 chips on High (19-36)

Bet Method B

1 chip on 0
4 to 6 chips on double street 19-24
4 to 6 chips on double street 25-30
4 to 6 chips on double street 31-36
6 to 20 chips on Low (1-18)

This is all my notes say, hopefully it gives you enough information for something you recognize.

Thank you in advance from Canada !

mcmonaco, I agree with you, that is why I said "After running the numbers I cannot see how it would be profitable since he was covering every possible number"

I was wondering if maybe I missed something in the details. If someone recognized this system and could point out the corrections it may be viable.

This method is even worse than the Havana System from Pre-Castro days  :$ 15 on  1-18 and $ 10 on 25 -36.

EL STUPIDO AMIGO!

You delivered final nail in the coffin. Shame on you.  Anyway anybody knows CPR to revive it?  Except this contest which nobody cares about except the contestants this forum is clinically death..  Yeah there are always crackers vs cheese interchanges but they are so predictable....

Gots to differ with you a bit there.  I watch the competition daily.   Very interested.  MM says roulette is not his game.  And the whips hell out of it!!

You always win when you really dont care much about the outcome ;D  MM does not.

Throw caution to the wind and bet with reckless abandon?

Yep, it's easy with play money.

This is the best I can come up with:

For single zero roulette.
Stake
---------
Stake 1 unit on Ist Dozen (1-12)
Stake 1 unit on 2nd Dozen (13-24)
Stake 0.5 unit on numbers 25-30
Stake 0.5 unit on ZERO
You are covering 30 numbers + the zero for a 3 unit total stake
You only win when the 0 comes up.
Play same stake every spin until you win or losses are -18 (end of session)
Most spins you will get your 3 units returned.
If the number spun is 31 to 36 you of course show a loss of 3 units.
If 0 comes up with no losses you win 15 units
if 0 comes up and you have had 1 loss then you win 12 units
if 0 comes up and you have had 2 losses then you win 9 units
if 0 comes up and you have had 3 losses then you win 6 units
if 0 comes up and you have had 4 losses then you win 3 units
if 0 comes up and you have had 5 losses then you will be LEVEL
The 6th loss results in a net loss of 18 units. End of session.
It can be played with low value or high value chips. You only play 3 units per spin.
Your max profit per session is 15 units. (Zero came up with no losses)
Well, there it is, a simple staking plan without using many chips.
You need patience and tolerance though whilst you wait for the zero to show up.

I know a bet Victor post, you cover all numbers accept one number and win one unit.
Pretty cool bet selection.

Lets assume if you let all numbers hit accept the last one, sleeping one and you play.
Then the odds would be 36 against 1.

Here is the first one:

There's a tricky bet for having a 36-number layout coverage and yet win +1 unit on a hit:

How can it be? Targetting #19 as the only number to leave open, the bet goes like this:

3 chips go to number 0
72 chips to low (Covers 1 to 18 )
48 chips to 3rd dozen (Covers 25 to 36)
16 chips to corner 20/24 (CVovers 20-21-23-24)
4 chips to straight-up number 22

If any number other than 19 is spun, you win +1.

You need a table with "Le Partage" rule for this bet to work.

You can use your head and try to find a way based upon your main idea above.
Also look at Romansky, search at this forum and you will find the topic.

There is plenty of different methods covering almost every number targeting a small win.

One topic i search for the moment is when you place 1 unit on dozen one and 2 units on high with progression.
Some one made a topic about it in the past.

No i think i have seen this system before, but it was a little different. Maybe you remember the system wrongly?

stringbeanpc

BHR, I agree that I could have remembered the system incorrectly.

thanks to everyone for their replies
