See attachment to this post for a free thumper. It can be installed on any mobile phone, and can be used in many different ways for advantage play.

There are countless ways to use a thumper, but below is as simple as it gets. By far this is not the best way to do it, but consider it an introduction to VB:

Set the pulse timings to be roughly 1000ms (1 sec).

When the ball completes revolutions with the same timings as the pulses, note which number is under a reference diamond (always use the same diamond).

When the ball lands, note the number.

Do 30-60 spins per direction, and you will have data like:

2,34
0,2

etc.

The x-axis of the chart can go from 0 - 37 for european wheels.

Create a chart that shows the DISTANCE IN POCKETS between each number.

You are looking for an area on the chart roughly 5 pockets broad, where the bars are generally higher.

Say the peak was at about +9.

Now to get a "tuned" prediction (where you bet), you use the thumper the same way in "play mode", but when the ball is at the right speed, where you bet is 9 pockets from the first number.

It's not at all that difficult. This is VB in its simplest form. There is heaps more to it though for modern conditions, but at least you get the idea.

Don`t forget the rotor speed. The first timing you do is either a full timing of the rotor when zero has moved from for example 12 o clock to 12 o clock OR note the point where zero is located at a thump, keep your eyes on that spot and let the thumper do 2 "thumps" and note the number at the spot. You then just call that rotor speed for the number like "13".  If the time is short because of short ball running time, you might just go for 1 thump for the rotor speed. Geneally, the most precise measure is a full rotor revoloution, but you might have to settle for less.

You then categorise your measures in coloumns under the appropriate rotor speed.

@Steve thumper with mobile phone is a joke, find out that an long time ago, but I guess some one has to start some where.

My opinion and there is better options if you have to use an thumper.
Put up and contribute with some thing good then average joe stuff.

Just out of curiosity and since i haven`t tried the thumper when it is inside a phone, whats wrong with it in there ?

Thanks, nice post.

If its for use inside the casino it must ofcourse be stable, i wouldn`t recommend that though. Its for training purpose only.
I have wrestled a little bit with stop watches too. Using a normal stop watch for measuring 10 ball revoloutions on a roulette wheel, write them down and match them after doing the same spin 2 - 3 times just shows how diffycult it is to click precisely. You will almost never get a complete match even thoght its the same spin. It gets better when you get some practice with the actual clicking, but depending on how many digits you got, it is diffycult to get the same measures.

There is nothing wrong with using a thumper in a mobile phone. If you found the thumps were missed, then try a different phone. Sure there are better options, but this one is readily available for everyone. If you find thumps arent accurate or reliable, like I said, try another phone.

Not exactly a good attitude.

I cant help but thinking you two have been influenced by rubbish from forester. That's fine, but it pays to keep an open mind. If either of you are down my way, let me know and I'll show you a few things. People with FFA that compared my computer, rather that rely on complete rubbish from people like bago and forester, spat out forester and his charade pretty quickly.

You right and i am wrong - it was no good idea to try to educate, take care.

Steve

Education IS a good idea. But education with accurate information. You made out as if the thumper was pathetic. It would sure be more accurate than singing, but I guess you dont agree. Java timers can generally be accurate within around 15ms which is fine for VB. Dont get me started on java timers and what forester says. My computers dont use them.

Chris from Berlin shows here the Metronome application for the Iphone. Im not sure if you can get it with a vibrating application too.
