@Alex

I'll do the PM's later today.

@Gogo

I tried and couldn't make it work for us here, that's the truth, no shame in admitting reality.

The "garbage" at the footer was due to me testing some PHP encoding last night and going to bed, it has been removed.

Guys,

There is a chance to take this experience here as a learning one and use it for the better.

I'm coding a new forum engine from scratch for VLSforum.com, this is my next step. Not only about roulette, but a whole multiforum.

How long would it take for VLSforum.com to be successful? Truth is I don't know, may be 3 months, 6 months, 1 year???. The support of yours ends as soon as VLSforum matures enough and VLSroulette gets absorbed and hosted, but I can't give you any time frame for its success, that's the truth.

What is different? I've learned my lesson. The new engine starts with a business model from its birth, it will be hosting text-ads and base on activity volume. True with a single forum ads make only cents, but cents a day x plenty of small forums = dollars. It can work with volume, that's the business model. With this, the bigger it gets, the better.

But it can't possibly start the next page in debt.

So, if VLSroulette.com gets debt-free, I stop worrying about selling it and in the mean time for some months the community support would suffice, as soon as VLSforum starts growing and the model gets to show its working, then it can be used as a platform for us here, and then yes VLSroulette.com can be used to funnel traffic to something bigger, but it has to get to the "being big" point!

Let's try guys. Let's give this a try.

I agree,
so we all must gather, how much? 500$?

It is less.

I'll place the paypal support button and a counter + a thread to announce the progress at the general board.

We can make it!

Well at one point I even tried to start clearing the debt by doing code jobs (which would take ages), and I did make some simple small-time coding which was paid by paypal so there is some at the account.

With $375 we are good, and this amount includes paying current bill on the 28th to be good for next month.

Please by all means dear friend, let's have the counter approaching the goal!

Many many thanks.

I will do Victor what I have promised..
I have some problems with my PayPal, must wait verification code.
If I can do it with moneybooker, I would, but like you have said before, transaction will cost more, so please, few days will be done. :ok:

Just curious... What happens to the money/forum if you only get $350?

There is a kind member from the forum's crew willing to cover us for something shall the collect not deliver 100% (actually due to paypal fees the net is less than gross).

Of course, we can't expect to be $250 short.

As to the offers, we have only had 3: one from a known system seller to use us as platform to advertise his systems, one from a fellow member who wants to have access to the member IP's and another possible one from a casino agency.

Also there is one fellow member asking to buy for "saving us" here.

I totally hope and know the internal community support will come. I don't want to sell and that's the truth.

Marketing, etc, surveys.  Or more-sinister purposes?  Anyway, those naturally go (first) to the (first) administrator, who may then do with those as he/she warrants best.

I'd be more curious about that enquiring "casino-agency"... puzzling.

Well, it is obvious the value of owning this community is different to every type of owner.

People like system sellers and casinos can advertise directly to gamblers, but in this particular case to locate member's countries of residence has value for a very singular reason :)

Why he want that?

The value lies on this:

If you are a physical-approach player, you can run a global team of players by approaching those from your target country.
