If it's "not hard" to get ahead at the tables with a $5 bet, it would be no harder to get ahead with a $500 bet.  People would learn to be happy on $1,000 or so a day in winnings and the casinos would put a stop to it.

but the majority of the people at casinos cannot play in that way.

the majority of the people at casinos would still bet even if a neon light above the wheel said that the wheel was programmed on this spin to make you lose. they would still place a bet in case it went wrong.
