I read one of Malty's quotes which I really liked and I'll quote below:

QuoteThere is no such thing as luck or bad luck at the casino....there are only good streaks and bad streaks for the CURRENT system YOU ARE USING!!!!!!

So i was thinking about this today at the casino. As I looked over the numbers of the previous 15 spins, I thought about the quote again and asked myself "could the secret to winning be just the knowledge of a mass of different systems?"

I mean, I accept that wheels show certain types of patterns, and that these patterns may continue for at least a short period more of time. If this 'pattern' fits in with one of the systems you know, you can start taking advatange of the pattern by applying the system.

Most people tend to go with just one system and if they lose they just blame it on luck. But what if you knew a variety of systems and whatever pattern currently existing at your wheel could fit into a system you are familiar with?

I hope everyone understands, if not, I will further try to clarify.

There is an old saying about trends: By the time you recognize one, it's over.  But you are right, I think.

I once saw the field hit in craps over and over again.  A guy next to me was cleaning up.  I jumped right in and lost $200 playing Oscar's Grind.  This thought came to me: Beware of the end of the trend!  I got on just as it was dying!

I, too, have played multiple systems and when someone talks to me, I totally forget what I'm doing. How do you handle that?

This is what you want.

1)Win more.
2)Break even more.
3)Hit loss limit less.

Thats the only thing you will find out, you will not find a super system.

Ask your self this question, would you aim for a 10% return or hit a loss limit.
Ask your self this question, would you aim for a 1 or 2 % return or break even.
Ask your self this question, where, when and why do you hit a loss limit.

You have to get use to break even and go home, its the same thing as walk home as a winner.

But this is just my humbel opinion...

It all comes down to using it effectively. Not all trends end on the next spin. Some do. The system that works the best is in playing the trend endings for each recognized method. You need to know how well that is doing and adjust for that over all global trending. It's like playing a three dimensional Roulette. The trend endings go through trends themselves. Now the trick is to use a method where alot of small and common trends appear to you more often. Then you can play more trend endings. The focus should be on the end and not on recognition and /or existence. Most people are still in the two dimensional world of just finding trends. They spend endless hours just trying to come up with systems and methods just to get that far. There is a further destination to get to in trends.

My preference is to not talk to anyone. I have this conspiracy theory that the casino sends people over to talk in order to try and see what type of system I'm using and what type of person they are. Funnily enough, whenever I'm at a table winning, there'll be waitresses asking me over and over again if I want a drink.
