Hi, I hope someone may be able to offer some solutions to a high data useage that I experience when I operate through my Yahoo site? To-day I signed up with Smart Live Casino but not playing just yet.
I live in the Sydney Australia area.
I have Windows Vista and use Virgin mobile broadband @ 8 GB /month. I do not have a landline phone as it is not practical as I rent in a shared house (too many freeloaders using the phone etc. )
ADSL 2 + would be good as they have high GB @ much cheaper rates than mobile but landline required.
I have used an r n g site (I've listened to posters on VLS & since flicked it).
This r n g site was Yukon Gold part of the British Virgin Island casino group. When you sign up with them they send down their log in program complete with icon.
When I initially started using it I did so through my Yahoo page. I was shocked at the high rate of data consumption.
I eventually discovered that I could log on via the Yukon Gold icon staight from the windows screen. This bypassed the use of the Yahoo screen. Data consumption slowed greatly to about 20% of what it was through Yahoo.
The current problem I have with Smart Live is the only access they offer is through a home page such as Yahoo? I have checked with them on this & they said that's all they have?
Any advice on this would be appreciated as I only have basic computer knowledge. Thanks in advance.

Mr Moderator please delete this post as I've solved the problem via my local computer shop. It was very simple all I had to do was click minimize when on Yahoo. Thanks ausguy.
