Two Questions

Hi guys,

two questions, please help.

1) If I must use a progression, can someone please help me to determine what my progression must be to make a profit. I know that I must add my total bets, as well as my current bet, and subtract that from my possible profit.  But my formula just won't work. Let's say I bet $1 on six numbers each. After my first spin my total bet is $6, with a possible $30 profit. After my second spin, my total bet is $12, and my possible win $24 etc. After about six spins I will not make a profit, so I have to progress, but how much, and when? Hope this is clear!

2) I am looking for a nice (free) roulette game to play offline on my PC when doing some tests. I would prefer one that is very fast, being able to minimize the spin times between spins to improve my testing times. One that is able to import real spin numbers would be even better. Any ideas?

2) Go to nolinks.uxsoftware.com and download roulette xtreme. It imports spins too.

 "what my progression must be to make a profit." >>> I always say this is up to you, not anyone on the board. When I make a progression, I think of how much time will go into my method (am I driving far to the casino?) etc. What is the NET minimum I want per win? Have all your info together FIRST and then work on the progression. "After about six spins I will not make a profit, so I have to progress, but how much, and when?" >>> Well get a calculator out and you'll know. Up your bets to $2 per. Are the NET wins ok with you? If not, up it to $3 per etc. Also keep track of your "running total". Meaning, what you put into the bets so far. What is your max. budget for betting? Do not go past that amount. Making a progression chart on paper is very easy especially only betting a few numbers.  Ken

babs, most of the progression methods failed at the end.  And the losses is doubling in every next bet you palcing on.  I personal don't think progression bet is workable unless we have the way to overcome house edge.  Because in the progression bet when '0' hit,I don't think the nex hit is relevent anymore.  Think twice before you decide to use it.
