VLS Lw Strategy Results...

I just tried out a very simple form of the VLS Lw strategy, and through after betting on 40 spins (out of how many I have no idea) I won 30 of them.   I only bet on the after the board showed LwLwLwL, then I would bet for a w.   Are these standard results to win 3/4 of the bets put down? Above average? Below average?

Also, if I were to try to win only one unit, what is the absolute safest way to go about accomplishing this?
