Which table to pick?

Let's say you go to the casino and your usual method is to bet on a particular sector, which we shall call sector A for the purposes of this question.

You walk to the tables and there are two operating. On one table, you look at the past 20 spins and see that sector A has come out a bit more than 50% of the time. On the other table, you see that sector A has only come out once or twice out of the last 20 spins.

Now how do you rationalise this if intending to bet on Sector A? Do you go to the first table thinking that Sector A has come out quite often, so it should come out just as often when you start playing, or do you avoid that table thinking that Sector A has come out too many times and the wheel will start evening out by showing up other sectors?

Do you choose the second table thinking that Sector A hasn't come up much, so it has to even out and start landing on it more often? Or do you avoid this table thinking that it hasn't come out much, so it's unlikely that it will come out when you start playing.

Wait for it to hit, then play sector "A" for 1 cycle (36/<numbers covered>). Repeat for 3 attacks.

Yesterday I was practicing on the smart live casino feed (fun money), when I first got there and looked at past results, I noticed that the second dozen has been sleeping for a while. It looked something like this:

I bet against it, 10 bucks on each of the two other dozens. Guess what came out.

Depending on how many rounds your playing, I would try a round at Table A since its hot, and wait for Table B to start getting a couple more hits.  Table A wont stay hot forever.

Well I went to the casino last night. What I do is bet the sector from 31 to 4 (16/37 numbers covered on single 0 wheel), spreading $100 worth of chips on those numbers. I start with $400, so normally I figure it's gotta hit my sector at least 1 in 4 spins.

I saw a table which had not landed in that 31 to 4 sector for 7 consecutive spins. Pretty safe to start betting right?

Well I'll be damned. On the next three spins I lost, and then on the fourth spin, I decided to bet outside of my 31 to 4 sector, and guess what? IT LANDS IN THE 31 TO 4 SECTOR!!!

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never gambling again.

If I had to play, I would not try and second guess the cycles, I would play both tables simultaneously, playing one off the other to extend any progression until I had an overall profit, or reached my stop loss.
