To take an extreme example, do you think the casino would care if you went everyday to win $5 and leave immediately afterwards?

I mean, assuming you never lose, that's $1800 in a year.

Would they think of some way to stop you?

Shorty

I'm sure they would not care in the slightest. They make millions and millions each year.

the day will come when you will find yourself in over your head what do you do go home or try to recoup your losses.  even if you back 35 numbers. you will hit that patch from hell. its a fallacy that you always win at first. good luck

toey,
Why do you think these ~10,000 spins that you'll get after one year of playing
will differ from these that you can get in one single session (one day)?

No no, I understand the house edge, but my question is really directed to the casino's concerns. Granted, they make millions per year, but if, say, 10 people did this it'd be a $18,000 loss for them per year, and so on.

Shorty

It's still (very) minor winnings. Think of the people that lose $10 000 in one night. Then think of the high rollers that lose $100 000 in one night, and so on.

the casinos will welcome you. there are winners and losers every spin. the only sure winner is the casino.
my casino gives away 1000 dollars a hour.  what does that tell you. if you can win five dollars a day why not a thousand. it can not be done. prove me wrong. tell me how.

Toey,

I've asked many people a similar question over the years.  "Do you think anyone would care if I visited the casino daily and took $100 bucks?"  Here were some of the answers:

"Are you kidding me, the casinos could care less about your $100 bucks"

"You will eventually get banned.  The casinos don't care about the guy taking $10,000 in one night, but they do care about the people who are consistent in their take."

"The casinos are glad you are there.  The longer you play the more likely it is that you will lose."

"It depends on what and how you are playing, a real wheel or machine and if you are tracking for long periods of time."

Hope it helps ....

if you play roulette you are taking home the other players money. at the end of the day the table you are playing on will show a profit.  that is all the casino cares about . not whether you lose or win. you will be back no matter what. good luck.

Thanks mate, that's really what I was after. I was just very curious as to the casino's attitude towards such people.

Guys.....

Do the casinos still ban card counters?  Not those who think they can; those who take the casino for thousands each week.

my casino shows a huge profit every year.  the only losers are the punters. any money you win in the casino comes out of the pockets of the players. i think every body loses in the long run. todays winners are tomorrows losers.  stand and watch the roulette table for a few spins. some spins the casino takes the lot. are there any long term winners here.

hoper35

What's your definition of 'long term'?

More like each week. And in some capital cities across the world, each day.
