How many "safe" bets are there?

Hi Guys,

I was hoping to come across a thread that lists all the "safe" table layout bets that cover a big percentage of the table. I know that's a contradiction in itself as there are no "safe" bets. But I'm looking for bets with odds for winning to be greater than 50% that don't eat the bankroll too much on a $5 minimum table.
I don't mean covering 35 numbers on the layout for a 1 unit win.
Also these bets should take into account the Zero - Lets hopefully get a list going! I'll periodically update this post with all contributions!
My style of play is going up to a table having a look at the trend its giving out - place one bet - win or lose move onto another table.

The bet I love placing is the 5 units each on 5 Double Streets and 1 unit on the Zero - (wins 4 units - loses 26 units) - This is also a favourite bet after a double has appeared (Betting on it not hitting that double street again)
Every now and then when feeling lucky I place 6 corner bets (1 unit each and 2 corners per dozen) and 1 unit on the zero for a 2 unit win
2 dozens/columns w/Zero is a bet I have had bad experience with, but still has favourable odds
Red/Column3 Black/Column1 w/Zero - Never used this but I like the concept of colour loading

There are tonnes more I can't think of when writing this - but i'll be sure to add all contributions to the first post to make reading easier.
I'm not looking for writing a strategy around these bet selections but just the selection itself.

Hello dear friend, have you tried the Romanosky betting charts?

Post here:

Kind regards,

P.S. If the outside bets (dozens) have a high minimum, remember you can always bet two double-streets instead.

Thanks for the reply Vic - much appreciated.

I have taken a look at those bets in the past... but thought if I would like to cover the zero I would have to raise the other bets accordingly to get a decent profitwhich again raises the risks.

Don`t be  scared of the "0". This is pure phobia. Betting the 0 is just reducing the WINNING EDGE unless off course the 0 is integrated  into  a pre selected system .

The  only way to  consider betting  the 0  or for that matter 0/00 is  placing  just a  $ 1.  chip on those positions IF the inside bets are  $ 25 or higher. Therefore for each $ 25 inside increment bet add an additional  $ 1 .

There are no safe bets in roulette.  It`s  more  likely within the realm of ones own comfort zone. For my part  my comfort zone is  never less than 20 numbers and never more than  23. But my  best inside play calls  for 22 numbers.

Occasionally I do play  the dozens  . On a follow the dozens ( always 2 in action) method with moderate increases similar to the  Guetting progression .

HAPPY WINNINGS!!!
