I don't know if this is the right forum for this question but here goes:
I am looking to play this definition of a "sector". . . I will define it as the last number spun and the 2 numbers to the left and the 2 numbers to the right.

I am wondering if there are any "statistics" about how this play would work.

Thanks

Marven

Hi Rick,

There is no reason for it why it should work, and so it won't.

For a sector bet to work, your selected sector must have a higher probability of hitting than the normal one. Simply selecting the last number/sector hit yields no real advantages I'm afraid.

If you're into sectors, here's a cool dealer signature method (with a VB element) I started out with that you (or others) might wanna experiment with:

- Find a wheel with a dominant drop zone (I.e. a diamond that receives the majority of the hits, this somewhat takes the randomness away from the wheel for visual ballistics/dealer signature players).

- Track the travel distance between the start number (the number under the dealer's hand as he/she spins the ball) and the final outcome. Collect data, for both spin directions separately (clockwise, and counter-clockwise) or stick to one spin direction.

- Record only the spins where the ball hits the dominant diamond, and ignore those (less frequent) spins where it hits the other diamonds. If you have 2 dominant diamonds, track the results of both separately.

- In your tracking chart, you might wanna add a column where you note the difference between the current travel distance (TD), and the most recent one. Example: TD for last spin is +6, TD for current spin is +10, the difference would be +4.

- Look at your data for developing patterns/trends and ride/exploit any.

- You might wanna keep data profiles for each dealer/wheel you play for future reference.

Whatever you chose to do, I hope you do well.
