Title: My strategy, help wanted to improve it.
Post by: crabhunter on March 13, 2014, 08:25:13 AM
Hi everyone, I go through spells of playing roulette, every time I come back to it I see my results getting better as I tweak my strategy .
I've had a few months off since my last spell and now I feel i'm ready to push on again.
I do feel happy with the even bets along with the martingale progression.
I use the progression £1, £3, £8, £20, £52
That way if I win on say the fourth go I win more than one unit per spin, I don't see the point of winning one unit for four spins.
That is as far as I'm prepared to go, meaning at worst I lose £84
As that is what I'm prepared to lose when playing for real I stick to that when practicing.
I quickly learnt that if sticking to the same way of choosing the bet that progression soon runs out so I have come up with ways that has reduced the amount of times that happens considerably.
My least favourite method for choosing an even bet is to stick with one until it wins, I reserve this for when I see quite a long succession of opposites come up. i.e. a long line of blacks and I start betting on red. Same with evens or highs.
It was this method that quickly taught me the weakness of the Martingale system but I still use it to mix up my strategy as I believe in fighting random with random.
Next up is my favourite, I call it "round the houses" I start by betting on lows, then win or lose move onto evens then reds, blacks, odds and then highs. I never make more than two circuits unless I need to to finish on a win.
Lastly I bet AGAINST the following patterns RBRBRBRB HLHLHLHL OEOEOEOE
I do this by watching for one of those patterns and then betting on the last one out.
So say red was the last out I bet on red, if red come up again I bet on red again, if black comes out I increase my bet and bet on black.
Since using a mix of these strategies and by not playing for too long on any one table and playing at different times I have greatly increased my luck.
Also some times if I lose three times and I don't feel good about it I will sit out a few spins or even go back to one unit and return to the higher bet when it feels right.
What I would love to know is how you choose your even odds bets so that I can mix my play up even more.

You must wait very long until you see 4 chops,my friend...and even when you do it is much safer to
play -1+1 until next chance of 4 chops.

Thank you for your response.
I am not familiar with the term "Chop" I have only played on my own and so I don't know much terminology.
Also please explain -1+1
