Title: Collaboration request
Post by: Spiff on August 25, 2010, 06:36:33 AM
Hello to everybody, I'm not new here but used to read without writing.
Now I have something maybe worth to be evaluated and needed your help.

To make it short, I have direct contact with a professional player who sometimes deals his ideas.  He has a big roulette culture and experience and is a continuos source of new ideas. . . which only need to be tested.

With a friend I have done this handly, and many times we arrived so closed to having a margin, ending up with system with whom you don't lose money (which is already a win against roulette's advantage) but letting you earn too few, closing most of the times with a kind of balance, even in long term.

I can't publish his works due to copyright and all, but I had an idea.

I need someone who is a big expert in Excel VBA or in Roulette Extreme programming (the systems sometimes are a bit complex to be explained and understood, though then quite easy and funny to play), I can exchange privately the systems from time to time, to have them coded and tested on a huge number of spins.  Then, if something interesting will come out, we can share everything (always privately of course), I have nothing against this, instead, I would like to find something big and distribute it to forum members.

What do you think of my idea?

If anybody's interested in this just answer this thread and we can see.

Thanx a lot and see you soon!

I'm just curious who the professional is who needs his ideas tested through a 3rd party with you as the middle man. Not trying to be a dink, I am really curious.

Well... Spiff has been registered for a year. Typically Viper doesn't have that kind of patience. If he does, my hat's off to him!

I think I explained myself wrong.  It's not the professional player who needs this test of course, it's ME!  :spiteful:

He doesn't even know I write here about his ideas of course, ELSE I would have published them directly.  Also, he's over 60, he just deals out some ideas for fun, he already earned more than enough believe me (and he will never tell with which system I guess).

Anyway, his ideas are very interesting, so that is why I am looking for help, as manual testing is not enough.  If you have any other doubts, ask me.

Just curious how did you came in contact with this professional player?

Spiff,

What exactly makes you think he's a professional? Did he demonstrate his system for you over a large sample, or is it that he "talks" and "seems" (etc) a lot like a pro? If it's the latter, then chances are he ISN'T. :)

I can't prove he really IS a pro, I only know he's very rich and that he is now sharing some ideas that I find very interesting and worth a try, that's all.  Even if he is cheating and is not a pro, his ideas remain very interesting.
Guys, I am not asking for money or selling something, I just want to know if there is a "skilled" somebody willing to try to code some of his ideas, simple as that. . .
