Hi all, Ok well i am a newbie, i am considering becoming a bit of a gambler.....ish

I work for myself doing a service based job which can earn me £50-£500 a week so for the weeks i have some spare £ i am considering investing it. The reason i like Roulette is its simplicity. I just wanted to run a couple of things by you all so you can tell me if i have the right idea.

If you bet on red or black on European Roulette you have a 47% chance of winning and 53% chance of losing because of the 0, is that right, and its supposed to be random, but of course it could spin 50 reds or blacks in a row.

The method i am considering is somewhat risky, not sure if any of you have ever tried it, or if it works. Basically to bet £5 on Red £5 on Black and £5 on 0 so total bet £15, guaranteed win of £10 per spin, unless the 0 comes in then a win of £180.

Now if you deposited £200 using the above method you would need the 0 to come in within 40 spins before your broke, Now ive heard all sorts about betting on both red/black will trigger the 0 to show more often ect.... and the simple law of probability.

Of course it is entirely possible i guess to spin 80 times and the 0 never comes in but at the same time it could come in 5 times in 40 spins.

Online casinos now make it very risky to do the nightingale method as you can't start at £1 you have to start at £5, so 6 blacks in a row when your doubling on red each time meaning bet number 7 your staking a huge £320.

So have i got the right idea, am i understanding things right. Should i consider becoming a gambler.
