At another board 2 or 3 posters (Australian ) are reporting and discusing the demise of Dr. Martin Blakey , an alleged Australian author of a roulette book .
However they have given no proof of that claim not even a reprint of an obituary in any local newspaper. Any knowledge on your part that you have come across an obit?
Any direct question at that board would be considered offensive and certainly not well received by that closely knit group.
Thanks.

Atleast that story was no fiction. Unlike the Pryanka/Grampa tear jerker scenario was kept alive at betselection.

Well...to my credit, I rumbled Greatgrampa that he was priyanka on PM after a week.....and he admitted it. I never told a soul.
But I was under the impression that Greatgrampa kicked the bucket and Pryanka stuffed him to keep the party going.
then according to your version Greatgrampa just wanted to fade away having had the last laugh .
I never bbelieved that story about RALPH being killed during a robbery either.
Looks like those 2 cats have had it with that board.
I am just wondering what the next tale wil be once Dr. Martin fades away.
Currently all gambling boards are in a slump

GG told me people wouldnt debate with him because they took what he said as gospel. He invented Priyanka ...some lively young girl..so people would relate to his ideas better and make some debate. An odd choice in my view...but hey
And priyanka announced Greatgrampas death?.....Bizarre to say the least
...and how astute of you....where others just accept things on face value, I also dont believe the circumstances on Ralph.
Its a shame, because GG was a great writer of high enthusiasm.....and I enjoyed Raphs stuff too.
Theres a local saying here in Northern England. "Nowt queerer than folk" (Nothing stranger than people)
For equal time to be fair find a list of other authors who have published books on roulette:
Frank Scoblete ( USA)
Brett Morton ( UK ?)
John Patrick ( USA)
V. Bethell ( UK)
Peter Preston ( country ?)
No further comment on the subject.

When it comes to different user names (etc.), there's little I believe, sorry.

Ken,
I am all with you about your complaint regarding different ujser names .e.

Many years ago I (as a Dane) had a good laugh
when I read a German roulette book from HugenDubel Verlag.
The author: LUDWIG VON GRAPH :pleasantry:
Later I was extremely proud when I was able to teach "Prianka"
some basic knowledge on probability (confirmed by Bayes).
Should we turn to Sherlock Holmes now?
His inventor, sir Arthur Conan Doyle, became involved with early spiritists
and he was fooled in a case of fairies :girl_wacko:
Well, maybe he had simply lost his marbles
or had his mind shadowed by some poisonous substance :skull:
Dane...Priyankas knowledge of probability was excellent because she was GreatGrampa...whos knowledge of probability was excellent...lol
Unless he lied to me and he and priyanka had the same indian name that was the author in both their excel files. I suppose there's a slim chance of that...lol

And I think that INDIANS discovered ZERO! Thanks to centuries
with intimate knowledge of this silent field
in meditators filled with nothing but bliss (Ananda) ;D.
Which reminds me: Time to meditate!

I'd make it a deep sleep, for all our sakes.

I remember this from Life of Brian:
"We are all different".
"NOT ME".
It is always interesting when someone tries
to speak for ALL :diablo:
One way to deal with this Indian Priyanka pretence might be humour.
A scientific validated technique brings the the body of the meditator DEEPER
than any sleep. Very fast! At the same time he or she is more awake than you might imagine.
"A proposed fouth major state of conscoiusness" ("Restfull alertness").
To non-meditators Westerners this might sound as absurd as Zero & India.
Wikipedia (0, number): "The oldest known text to use a decimal place-value system, including a ZERO,
is the Jain text from India intitled the Lokavibhaga, dated 458 AD, where Shunya ("void of empty")
was emplyed for this purpose".
Stunia ("void or empty") was employed for this purpose"
I post a small, little, throw away comment, designed to point out that your reply#14 stated nothing. Then, you go & do it again in reply#16, priceless !!!!!

It is true, there are techniques for this, but for the mainstrean, they can take a very long time to develop.
My own preference is for the 'three finger clasp'.
Once mastered, it is a magnificent tool!
It's like, three fingers, put 'em there and BINGO! your in the zone.... awesome!
At least you, unlike certain trolls,
seem to have developed a healthy sense of humour
"I´m taking my time for a number of things
that weren´t important Yesterday
And I still go"
(The Beatles)
I have been playing piano almost all my life.
Lately someone stole my piano. Rather traumatic!
After that I didn´t know what to do with my fingers.
Now I know! :yahoo: Thanks!
I wasn't joking Dane.
The three finger clasp is an ancient, well documented technique for rapidly putting the disciple into an advanced meditative state within an instant.
It takes many years to develop and is essentially a cellular level recall mechanism used to eliminate the chronological sequence necessary for novices in reaching advanced meditative states.
There's nothing wrong with meditating for hours to reach a desired level of consciousness, but the ability to reach the same state of mind in an instant is sublime.

"Taking fun as simply fun and earnestness in earnest shows how thoroughly thou none of the two discernest"
(Piet Hein)
I am sorry. Not joking. I see.
As you might have guessed, I have been meditating almost as long as David Lynch.
Several hundred scientific studies have confirmed the beneficial effects of our technique.
I don´t know how much research has been made with your favorite finger method.
I do admit that meditation requires much more. Much Money too!!
Nowadays it is rather expensive to learn this meditation technique
That´s why I am not involved in the movement anymore

Must be better than killing others!
I once witnessed a pretty blonde dealer spinning the roulette wheel. And
I heard her tell another dealer that she planned to take her hands and arms
to an Insurance man because of this monotonous strain.
Piano players used to practice many hours a day. Today they might have found out that it was not healthy.
"I´m taking my time for a numbers of things that weren´t important Yesterday".
Yes, I just repeated this from FIXING A HOLE by the fab four.
Did you notice something strange?
WHY did I write Y?
With a big letter?
Well, The Beatles had earlier made us sing along: YES
TERDAY.
In Fixing a Hole they might have had some fun in turning it upside down like this:
TERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES
VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE
So glad that the thread has spun into a different direction....................
