Title: Live wheel vs. RNG
Post by: birdhands on November 01, 2010, 07:50:36 PM
As an American, my only options (as far as I can tell) are to play on a live 00 wheel with a $5 minimum or a 0 wheel with a $1 minimum.  Obviously the 0/$1 wheel is better (especially with my tiny BR), except that it's RNG.  What do you all think?  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

82 views and no one's got an opinion?  Am I asking a dumb question?

Well, I'm not a big fan of RNG but it might work out for you for a dozen or so spins.

If I've got real money out there, I don't want to be playing what amounts to a computer game.

However, my thoughts on Live vs RNG are not shared by all members so take it with a grain of salt.

Well a lot of people have systems based on dealer signature, wheel bias, etc.  So you would need to play live.  However, I feel rngs are risky, I feel they are rigged and there's always the problem of withdrawing funds.  Go live.

Consider trying for fun (without real money) as many different RNGs as you can find.   While I agree RNGs are slot machines, the more realistic ones tend to play like real Roulette wheels (see TopGame casinos).

Well, the onle one I trust is Rome Casino.    They take 3 weeks to pay, but I have made money on their Roulette wheel.    It even shows when the wheel is off balance and corrects itself.
