Title: "HOW IT ALL STARTED"
Post by: Ronjo on November 25, 2007, 07:57:23 AM
Hi Everyone,

At last I am making a start,I have not been really prepared as I only decided to do this book a few weeks ago,as I have been arranging with my grahic artist and web designer on how to go about designing this book and getting it off the ground. And a big thank you to Victor for giving me this opportunity to share this with the roulette community.

I thought that it would be nice to let people out there that love roulette, know how I started roulette and tell it the way it all unfolded,I dont want to be a system seller, that does not interest me as if that was the case I would not be revealing the methods that I use myself.I have learnt the hard way and to keep playing this game and win consistently you have to be a player not a "GAMBLER" there is a big difference.

I dont claim to be an expert and I dont gaurentee profits,I have had failures and had successes,in the beginning it was frustrating trying to work this game out  and as I went along I started to understand the maths in this game and eventually accepted mathematically it cannot be beat, although there are people out there that do claim this,my maths at school sucked so I will never work it out, if it has been achieved I would love to see it.

So my aim is to help roulette players that are starting out to not make the same mistakes I made and give them a short cut to playing this game hopefully successfully.Even today I have losses and wins the thing is to control the losses, thats the ingredient of successful play. You have to try and tip the scale where the wins slightly outweigh the losses, you could have more losses than wins and if you handled your money management and betting selection with the right payouts you could be slightly on top of things and that makes you a successful player even though you have taken some knocks along the way.

Twenty two years ago was the first time I ever saw the inside of a casino, my women in my life Alice and myself used to go for weekends down our beautiful wild coast and enjoy the wild side of things outside the city.In this country South Africa years back the only legal gambling was horse track racing.Poker, blackjack was done behind closed doors illegally. Then they had two casinos built on our borders whicH was "WILD COAST SUN CASINO' and "SUN CITY" So we decided we will rent a cottage on the wild coast next to the casino and go to the casino at night.

I was never a punter I always thought that horse racing was a mugs game so I was not a gambler.A weekend away would cost us about a 1000 bucks so I gave Alice 200 bucks to play the slots the Friday night and Sat**day night she made about 2k which payed for our weekend away.
We used to do this regulary, weekends payed for, what a pleasure.I always stood next to her with the paper cups to collect the coins our hands used to get black from handling the coins, with a beer closeby I would never play as I thought I had bad luck.
But one thing stuck out in my mind in the private section they had Blackjack and roulette, and I used to think that was gaming for the rich only.
That little white ball facinated me so much and I used to fantasize about being a roulette player and getting rich, up to that stage I did not play roulette.
As our children came along and grew up we did not go to the casino much ,as a matter of fact we did not go to that casino for years, then they built a casino in our town Durban and then eventually there were about a half dozen casinos in our province.
And then this is when my playing roulette started.
From here I will unfold all the frustrations and joys of playing this wonderful game.
Ronjo.

Hi Ronjo

Good to read your post with the "strong column" strategy. If you combine it with Victor's nolinksLw approach you could enter the betting after a double LL and reduce your progression by a couple of steps.

I played this approach a good many times with quite a bit of success but like you I found the columns worked better than the dozens in the long term.

A mate of mine plays it with a very aggressive progression: $5, $25, $100. When he wins he wins bigger and bigger (especially the $100 bet). When he loses he just bites the bullet and starts again. I have watched him win thousands betting this way and yet I can't bring myself to use this strategy!!!!

Kind regards
Steve

Sorry to hear about the seperation mate.

all the best to you. You know, roulette and life has so much in common. We try to win at both but the odds are always in both cases stacked against us. Keep your chin up mate, you will get through.

Hello Ronjo,

This is my third marriage.  If there is one thing I learned is that I can only be responsible for myself and my actions.  I learned that I have no control of what other people do, say, or hear.  Trust me, move forward with your life and you will cross paths with new people, decisions, and adventures.  Life is just that way, a journey.  Who knows, maybe the path will re-trace itself with better understanding.

Take Care,

Kimo Li

Hey Ronjo - glad to hear you're pulling through it! - I not long ago helped a mate get through a nasty separation, it can get quite hard I understand.

Family & friends are all that matter through these times... Positive thoughts focus you toward doing positive actions.

The pain never goes away, we are just humbled at our own capacity for strength to keep going.

Hi Ronjo
Steve here - Long time no see! I've really had not much to do with Forums now because I'm busy implementing my own strategy at the local casino whenever I get the chance.

Sorry to hear about the dreaded separation - been there, done that when I was 30. Funny but I thought I was "grown up" until then. Gave my young ego a hell of a battering (as well as the bank balance) but I came through it and now have two lovely boys who are adults now and producing grandchildren for me! Wouldn't have happened with the first wife!!!

Anyhow - hang in there my friend and who knows I maybe able to meet up with you in the near future in the great continent of South Africa. Almost had the chance to visit Las Vegas for a week earlier this month but the notice was too tight. My son loved it and said I would have gone crazy!!

Hope your strategies are working well and the book progressing - anything I can do just ask.

Kind regards
Steve   (Remember all you people out there I am not Stephano just plain old Steve)

Yes sir, GOOD OL' Steve... Morgan  :)

Nice to read you my mate. Thanks for stopping by. Having your pressence around makes good to the board Steve; it is inspiring for others to see there are success stories with roulette and methods spawned from the ones you read through the net.

Kind regards.
Your friend,
Victor

Steve

I have never quite abandoned your "Aardvark"!  I mean the system of picking columns.  I have an idea to merge it with another system that picks columns, but does so quite differently.  I want to see if there is a "double-advantage" system here waiting to be discovered.

I have never revealed your system, only said that it mechanically gets as close to even as any.  In the event I spawn a winner, may I publish it to the forum?  If you're still selling your system, I wouldn't want to do that without your permission.

Sam

Hi Steve,

Great to hear from you, things have been put on hold the last couple of months, but I am in motion again, thanks for the offer to help its appreciated as you have been a great help in the past over at RR.Geez Steve Las Vagas would have been good.Yes I have been doing well with my play.I have not forgoten your dear old columns method are you still using it.Every now and again I use that and my old street method for a a few spins and still crack it,although we are playing the table instead of the wheel,I will be posting that method (streets) here at VLS plus many others in the next couple months.

Regards,
Ronjo.
