Write down spins till there are 12 sleepers left (normally between35/45 spins).

Now play these 12 nrs with progression till u have  a profit.
Now you should have 11 nrs (sleepers) left .
Start taking away hits on your writing pad till you have another sleeper starting at hit 1 till you have 12 sleepers again and start progression all over again.

Thought behind this is that 12 nrs is like a dozen , when 1 dozen doesn't hit for 20 spins most people will start playing it  because off it being due, in this system you always have a dozen that is by far overdue, think about it ...a dozen that hasnt hit for 38 spins....

Must make a note , i used to also play this without progression ,but then off course one needs more then one hit if no hit in 1st 2 spins, very effective as well to play these 12 nrs till in proffit ,and use no progression.

Both ways off playing are very effective ,with the right progression this is a winner, even if you will occasionally have a losing session ,but this almost never happens..

Also i would like to wish all roulette forum people a very happy and healthy 2009 , GET RICH SOON!

Thank you for your greetings, petquesha, i whish you the same and more :)

Now, as for your topic, i regret to say that playing the last 12 sleeper numbers it´s not danger free.

I did that and got burned. Victor himself followed my adventures as i progressed from a 2000 units bankroll to 5474 units and straight down to zero (sad).

Don´t worry, the units were (euro) cents. Victor used to say i was going to be CENTillionaire soon...  ;D

So, i more than doubled the bankroll only to lose it ALL.

The system i played was using those 12 sleepers all the time in a 2 * 3 stage stepladder, 2 "virtual play" (waiting) spins, followed by the dreaded progression...

It went like this for example

2 (units) - 2 - 2 ..... then, if lost, it would be 3-3-3 .... at this time i had the last 12 sleepers PLUS 6 spins, then i would wait for 2 more spins and then start the progression, that would have to go as follows in order to win on a single hit:

1
1
2
3
4
6
9
14
21
31
47
70
105
158
237
355    <-------------- this is 355 PER NUMBER, which means that at this point you would be risking 4260 units to make lousy 12.... or to put it another way, this bet would have meant that you would be using 12768 units (so far) on this progression !!!

OK ?  Are we clear on that ?

Once the progression was won, i would bet on the next level, in this case 4-4-4 (if lost 5-5-5 and so on), requiring (usually) two wins to go back.... but let´s not get into that now.

Now i will reproduce the tracking i did concerning my session from hell, courtesy of the "phillipines wheel" and dealer Eleanor, the likes of which i had never seen before:

NOTE - at this stage i had gone up the unit size from 2 to 4 cents, so the stepladder would be 4-4-4, then 6-6-6 before the need for the progression as an "extra", you get the idea.

4-4-4 6-6 (w)         - here i kept at 6 as my system required

6-6-6 8-8 (w)         - here i kept at 8 as required by the system

8-8-8 10-10-10       - (all lost)

V - V                     - 2 virtual spins, no hit, so start the progression at the second step (my choice for the system)

1-2-3 (w)               - progression won, back to the stepladder

12-12 (w)               - kept it at 12

12-12-12 (w)          - HAD to keep it at 12

12-12-12 (w)          - again, keep it at 12

12-12-12 14-14-14  - all lost, so wait for 2 spins

V - V                     - no hit, so start the progression... now comes the ugly part

1-2-3-4-6-9-14-21-31-47-70

...at this time i was sweating all over, didn´t know what to do, so i bet 70 again, lost, so i put in about half of what was left, LOST, then i put in the rest, then........... LOST of course... but i manage to keep recording although i only wanted to evaporate into thin air....

another spin... had zero bankroll ... LOST .... lol, not many people can lose zero units as well as i do :P

... one more spin.... aaaaand it finally HIT !!!

So, to sum it up, AFTER i had the 12 sleepers, they failed to show for 6 spins (12-12-12 14-14-14), plus 2 "empty" spins PLUS 15 spins (hit on the 16th)... so it took 24 spins for ONE of the 12 furthest back numbers to had the decency to come back to action.

24 spins !!!  There´s no table limit that could allow you to make that sort of progression on 12 numbers, i think.

An insane amount of units would have been needed.

I am not trying to put down this type of systems, but it took me 27 sessions to find out (the hard way) what 12 sleepers can do.... and they DO !!!

... By the way, i love your avatar. Take care.

How about trying the opposite, wait for 12 unique numbers to hit in a row, this is then a "custom dozen" that has repeated 12 times. Now start progression betting on the other two "custom dozens".

Anyone tried this?

I must relate a similar experience.  A fellow named WardBlack came up with the same idea.  He called it a rolling dozen and we waited until 12 numbers had not hit for 24 spins.  We figured we had a dozen that had slept for 24 spins.  What we had were 12 sleepers that usually continued to sleep.

One thing I know works is what Victor nick-named a "waker".  It is slow and not to be played alone, but as a companion system when you are going to be at the table a long time.  Wait for any number to sleep for 74 spins.  Any time from 75 on, when it hits it is a "waker".  Bet it for the next 10 spins.  Many times they will hit within three or four.

Another thing I've noticed while playing the G.U.T.  When a number reaches the =3 stage, you can bet money it is the "hot number of the trot" and it will go to >3 soon.  I've seen this more times than I can count.  Not betting it as I'm keeping my test pure this time.

redhot, here is a differente angle... never tried it, so i don´t know, but has a nice touch to it.. lol :

Wait until you have 12 numbers (in whatever amount of spins they happen), then bet on THOSE 12 numbers with the progression, this way we would be betting that the 12 currently absolutely HOT numbers DON´T go to sleep at the exact same time.

How´s that for a twist ?  >:D

Toby introduced long time ago something similar to wait for last 10 sleepers and than bet down to 7 or 6 numbers. He was very successful with it. The redhot idea to make a dozen (column) with 12 best numbers is not bad idea also. They should come more often during the 37 spin period.
