Title: How to decrease the odds with every spin
Post by: SPIN DOCTOR on June 28, 2008, 12:26:34 PM

The belief about roulette is that it is a game of replacements.
This means if 23 hits once  it can return to 23 again and so the odds
return to their original state on each spin.

The idea that each spin is independant is not supported by the game in practice.
There exists a pseudo continuity because random distribution

is not repetitive.

An example of randomness is this :

19,21,17,9,27,8,23,8,14,34

and not this

19,21,19,21,27,27,19,19,27,21

This series is improbable and scarce.

In a series of 10 roulette spins will will notice that repeat hits
are often less than 20% . If this were not the case then we would be
able to win by just covering the last ten numbers that hit.

In several sessions we may only find repeat numbers in the maximum 50% range
in one rare session . By and large the trend is that as each number hits it may
strategically be elliminated from your choice of numbers thus reducing the table odds against you as you progress through the game.

This means that we can watch 10 spins without betting and on our next bets benefit from reduced ods
by not playing these numbers.

QuoteThis means that we can watch 10 spins without betting and on our next bets benefit from reduced ods

This is a wish, but not the reality.

If you go to stochastics there is simply this:

In the next spin will your ten excluded numbers appear by 10/37 or ca. 27%
Your now selected numbers will appear by 27/37 or ca. 73%

Your conclusion they want appear at all is wrong.
even if you play these 27 selected numbers twice, 3, 4. or 25 times they will have no higher probability than this 73%.

sorry, but so it is.
any kind of this selcting numbers will fail. (that means will not beat house edge)
