Title: Playing for fun versus playing to eat
Post by: admin on March 31, 2008, 01:35:19 AM
When playing to eat you stop being generous with the units that you already won.

Opposed with playing for fun where you can afford an "all or nothing" attitude, when playing to eat you are the most aware to avoid such an scenario (because you can get nothing and, then what?), better to play conscious and get used to lock the excedent of your buy-in.

You must start thinking like this: Each unit won isn't casino's unit anymore, it is MINE.

If you made 100 units, then the casino can't take back all of your buy-in because you are already certain to leave with at least those 100 won units in your pocket.

Always remember, when betting you are dealing with CASH, not merely chips. Once you see the chips in your hand as actual paper bills, then you automatically stop beign magnanimous with giving them via "hunches" and "crazy bets" to the casino so easily...

Great post, my only income for the past 2+ years has come from baccarat, so I know that iron discipline is key.
