SPINO'S DS-TRACKER ON TEST

Performed on one-direction "Air-Ball" roulette spins
provided by donrosso - THANKS!

Note:
The zip-file attached to my last post includes...
A) AllPairs.txt - all the number-pairs I used in the test (copy-and-paste into the tracker)
B) SpinoDS-TEST.txt - each and every session and every bet of the test

Why "A-B"-spins?

Two reasons:
A) The dealers in the Wiesbaden spins I have, only makes like 15 spins for the most part.
B) Because of A) several sequences from one dealer are necessary but the dealers are not identified, making this impossible.

The files donrosso provided are more than 80 spins long, making them ideal for this.
(Check the "Actuals / Permanences" section - they are attached to his reply to me)

What's the purpose of the test?

Simple: To see if the tracker is of any use...

HOW I DID IT

The files were edited to show 60 pairs of numbers.
(The rest are used for the prediction/actual testing)

If the beginning looked like this:
1
2
3
4
5

The result would be:
1 2
2 3
3 4
4 5

This is the way results are input into the tracker.
* The first number indicates which number was under the ball when it was released. In this test, the last winning number.
* The second number shows the end-result.

NO! I don't know if the release-number is correct. That is an assumption, I'm afraid.
However; the machine I have seen did just that and so I assume this one to do that also.

When the numbers are computed I show BOTH the "Points"-graph AND the "Hits"-graph (Yes; I run two scripts)

The program-parameters are:
Single-zero spins
One direction
Points threshold = 6
Hits threshold = 1

I bet everything RED.
I bet ORANGE if it's close to RED (max 1 slot between them).

[attachimg=#1]

A single RED gets one neighbour each side = a 3-numbers sector
Two neighbouring REDs get one neighbour each side = a 4-numbers sector

Otherwise I make the sector as small as possible.

In this example, the bets will be:
Sector in TEST A) -13, -12 and -11
Sector in TEST B) +11, +12 and +13
Sector in TEST C) +15, +16 and +17

...from the last hitting number (2, in this case):

In the case of A) above:

TEST A:
2      Next: 29-7-28
26      Next: 1-20-14
6      Next: 35-3-26
25      Next: 7-28-12
28 HIT! Next: 5-24-16
...
etc

I test each sector like this and then I sum the session ("TOTAL"):

...
8      Next: 19-4-21
19 HIT! Next: 9-22-18
16      End of session

21 bets
1 hits for 3 (RO/R)

TOTAL (A+B+C):
21 bets
  5 hits for 9

The "(RO/R)" indicates that this 3-slots sector had 1 RED and 1 ORANGE Hit and 1 RED and NO ORANGE Points (compare to the image - this could be sector C).

The results below are in two parts:

A) All the results for each individual sector.
For the above example, there are three results - A, B and C.

B) All the results for the combined sectors.
For the above example, there is one 9-numbers result.

SUPPOSE:
MAX WIDTH = 5 NUMBERS
MAX TOTAL = 9 NUMBERS

Ex: "(3/9)" means widest sector = 3 slots and total = 9 numbers
Ex: "(18.9.08)" is short for the file/date where this happens

21 bets  5 hits (3/9) ==> 21 x 9 = 189 (18.9.08)
21 bets  6 hits (4/7) ==> 21 x 7 = 147 (19.9.08)
21 bets  6 hits (4/7) ==> 21 x 7 = 147 (20.9.08)
21 bets  5 hits (3/3) ==> 21 x 3 =  63 (22.9.08)
21 bets  6 hits (4/7) ==> 21 x 7 = 147 (24.9.08)
21 bets  1 hits (3/3) ==> 21 x 3 =  63 (26.9.08)
21 bets  7 hits (5/9) ==> 21 x 9 = 189 (27.9.08)
21 bets  3 hits (4/4) ==> 21 x 4 =  84 (28.9.08)
22 bets  5 hits (3/6) ==> 22 x 6 = 132 (30.9.08)
22 bets  7 hits (5/5) ==> 22 x 5 = 110 (2.10.08)
32 bets  7 hits (3/6) ==> 32 x 6 = 192 (3.10.08)
43 bets 11 hits (4/7) ==> 43 x 7 = 301 (4.10.08)

TOTAL BETS = 1764 x  1 = 1764
TOTAL HITS =   69 x 36 = 2484

CONCLUSION:

When we chart one-directional wheels, Spino has done a great job!

I have a question.  There are two ways that I know of in which the ball is spun.

1.  The ball is picked up from the pocket, the wheel is given a push one way or the other, and the ball is released.
2.  The ball is picked up from the pocket, placed atop the pedestal or elsewhere, the wheel is given a spin and at a point sometime later the ball is spun.

1 is the Microgaming wheel
2 is the CasinoWebCam wheel.

Do you feel it matters?

Hi Sam,

I think the most important thing is to have ONE measuring-point for the ball at/after the release.
One and the same point for every spin.
As for example (and the most common) the number that passes the ball/hand at release-moment.
Also assumed in this test.

Then it doesn't matter what they do between spins.

Herb

I would argue that the airball machines aren't the best machines to use for dealer's signature because the machine is designed to subtly change the speed of the wheel faster and slower during the spin.

Real wheels with dominant ball drop locations will also test the best.

Kon-Fu-Sed

Herb,

You are correct.
The one I have seen seemed to also change the power of air...

Anyway; it was fun to test. And a nice result also.
Now I just have to find a way to make it practical - you can't bring the lap-top into the casino...

:)

HI Kon Fu --Nice topic ;D These machines are self levelling ,so there wont be any common drop off,They usually have three different spring setting's which change at random,now and again with the machine i use the ball will hit the glass dome.There very prone to wear and tear.It might be worth tracking a few spins.Good luck.
