I often hear people talk about beating craps, bac, or roulette. But, this seems to mean that people want to establish an advantage, to hit better than 50% winning bets over some long term, maybe billions of decisions is the long term, yes?
My play and hit rate is about 45% but this is sufficient to make a nice consistent profit and that is all that matters to me. It seems that many never actually play at the tables and trying to "beat" the game is merely an academic exercise.
